Biography
I've been practicing bankruptcy for over 40 years and Board Certified in both Consumer and Business Bankruptcy Law for over 30 years. I'm AV rated (the highest possible) by Martindale Hubble, the national legal rating firm. I've also been named as one of the Best Bankruptcy Lawyers in Dallas by D Magazine.
I'm not a mass filer -- don't want to be. I take a limited number of cases so I can handle each case personally and give it the time and attention that it deserves. My clients deal with me directly. In fact, when they call, I'm probably the one that answers the phone.
Over the years, I have represented debtors and creditors, large and small. However, I take particular satisfaction in representing the little guy or small business where I can really make a difference in my client's quality of life.

Grizzled veteran knows his stuff
As you can tell from his beard and suspenders, Hal knows the ins and outs of bankruptcy laws. Having been on the other side, he has a good reputation for getting the job done in an honorable manner. If you are a debtor, especially a business debtor, consult him.
