Ignored. Not professional. Never updated

Hired Matt for a case that was out of state. After consulting with him he said it would be a walk in the park and gave me a bunch of hope that I could settle my case. I was concerned that he wouldn't be able to handle it since he didn't practice in that state but he didn't seem to worry as he could h...ire "external counsel" to help with specific state laws. After months of trying to get updated, not getting called back, promises that he was working on it I get a TEXT that he was dropping my case. Obviously it was disappointing and I couldn't believe I wasted my time with him. Furthermore, I couldn't believe that he texted me and didn't bother to call or anything.

good trial lawyer

Insurance company hired him to represent me when I was sued by person I rearended several years ago. Person that sued me was exaggerating injuries and Mr. Walker demonstrated this at trial. Jury awarded much less than insurance company offered before trial.

Great lawyer, settled my case out of court

I was injured in a car accident and the driver's insurance would not cover the injury sustained by my low back because I had a pre-existing condition. Matt did an excellent job of settling my case. He has experience working for insurance companies and this helped him to understand how to see the ca...se from both sides. He kept me well informed of everything that was going on, gave great advice and was very easy to work with. He is an honest lawyer and charged a fair price (25% contingency) for the work he accomplished. I would highly recommend Matt Walker to anyone needing a lawyer for a personal injury claim.
