Stephanie Ann Randall

I retained Stephanie Randall on a recommendation from a friend in NC who had worked with a lawyer in Boulder. This other lawyer said I could find no one better than Stephanie for a divorce case. Stephanie and Donna (and all the other members of the team) were all very helpful, professional, quick-to-action, and competent throughout my entire case, which took about 8 months to finalize. I am personally very detail-oriented and was extremely glad to find this team well-prepared and motivated to move as quickly as I wanted them to. I would recommend them highly, though I hope to never need them myself again.

She and Donna took a broken devastated man when I first walked in and reassured me Everything would be ok and within minute ( seriously) Court documents were filed and other lawyers were put on notice. This team is very patient and understanding and seriously KNOW’s family law most don’t make it to trail but when she gets you in court it’s a jaw dropping experience. We left our son previous attorney for Stephanie. Within a week she had more motion and evidence gathered then his previous attorney had in 5 months. All the advices she has given has been in the best interest of the granddaughters and the case. Stephanie was well prepared during court hearing, she always looked for the least confrontational solutions available. However when those solutions didn’t work out she actively went to bat for the best interest of our granddaughters. Would we recommend Stephanie..very much so we actually wish we had her to begin with.

Stephanie is very knowledgeable and professional. She knows where to pick the right fight for you so you don't waste your money. We did everything through phone calls and emails. I was a little concerned because we didn't have the chance to meet each other in person but she managed to get everything resolved at the end. I am very pleased with the result. I received excellent counsel from Stephanie during a PRE process. She asked some tough questions, but her insights were spot-on. Even in just a 45 minute conversation, I felt she really understood the depth of my case. She has a knack for editing away the “fluff” and getting to the heart of the matter. I came to Stephanie after working with another attorney. We were also post-decree, trying to relocate and working with an extremely hostile and combative co-parent. She had her work cut out for her and I was worried we had done too much damage to our case for her to be truly effective. From the beginning however, I had complete faith not only in her abilities as a lawyer but her grasp of the very complicated situation. Over the next 18 months Stephanie did her job competently, effectively and was aware and on top of our financial situation. We followed her advice at every turn, had the utmost confidence in every professional she advised us to work with and when the time came for a decision, we were awarded the relocation and very nearly everything else we were asking for. I felt as though Stephanie did an amazing job of advising and prepping me before the hearing, making sure I was aware of all eventualities and possible scenarios and by the time it was all said and done I knew that even if we lost we had done everything we could with the best attorney and staff possible. I have yet to meet or work with anyone in this firm who wasn't knowledgeable, caring and profession. They are realistic in their expectations, and make sure that you know what to expect and what can and cannot be done. They also kept my expenses in mind. More than a few times they asked me how badly I wanted to fight for something. I was reminded that what I wanted could potentially cost more to get than it was worth. During a divorce it gets easy to get caught up in the fighting. It’s helpful to have someone who will remind you that the expense of getting what you “want” or getting the “win” may cost more money than the value of what you’re fighting over. It a time of crisis, when your whole world is at stake, that is exactly what I want in my counsel. I want someone who is going to tell me what can and cannot be done, what to expect and to set reasonable outcome ideals for me. I know without a doubt that hiring Burnham Law was the best decision I could have made.

If more than 5 stars were an option, that is what I would give. I’m so happy that I had Stephanie on my side! From my first phone call and consult with her I knew she was someone who really knew what makes a case successful. After that call I was also sure that me and my daughter could not be in better hands. She made sure I would be ready and prepared for possible outcomes. She doesn’t think just one sided and gave me possibilities for how a judge might see something as well. She wasn’t making me empty promises. She’s strategic. She really listened to me and my concerns. She was patient with my frustrations and anxieties with the other party. She knew the moves the other party would make before I did and as I did. It was almost like she knew him as well as I do. I feel like her experience as a CFI was also extremely useful. She knew what my daughter needed and what was in her best interest. If you’re looking for an attorney who will approach a case aggressively and strategically, thinks outside the box, and actually CARES about you and your case, then give her a call. No doubt she is knowledgeable in situations of high conflict or where personality disorders are present. I got 99.9% of what I wanted and asked for and I’m not sure my results would have been the same if I had gone with a different attorney. I really think things would have ended differently. Hopefully I will not need legal services again but in case I do she’s on speed dial. She’s very good at her job and I’m very grateful I had her through a very stressful process.
