Matt Raymond Walker

When I came to this website I was devastated and stuck in a long and bad marriage. I posted my question and a few lawyers answered. Mr. Walker’s answer was so thorough and understanding that I called him right away. We talked more than an hour on the phone and I hired him right there and then. After ...that mostly I was in touch with him via text. Of course I was impatient to get the case started and move on. But I didn’t get the same compassion after the first phone call. The more impatient I got the more cold and unfriendly he got. Long story short, after more than a month my case wasn’t even filed and I was nowhere. When you are stuck in a bad marriage, everyday living with your spouse is torture. At the end I didn’t feel confident and trusting toward my attorney and that is not a good way to go on a legal battle. I had to find someone else to work with me. At the end for the work that wasn’t by all means even started he charged me for 3 hours of his service. Although the money is an issue but the process of my case was so much more important to me. My current attorney filed my case in the first hour of our meeting! If you can wait months or a year for your legal case to get done Mr. Walker could be a good fit for you. He wasn’t the right fit for my case.

Hired Matt for a case that was out of state. After consulting with him he said it would be a walk in the park and gave me a bunch of hope that I could settle my case. I was concerned that he wouldn't be able to handle it since he didn't practice in that state but he didn't seem to worry as he could h...ire "external counsel" to help with specific state laws. After months of trying to get updated, not getting called back, promises that he was working on it I get a TEXT that he was dropping my case. Obviously it was disappointing and I couldn't believe I wasted my time with him. Furthermore, I couldn't believe that he texted me and didn't bother to call or anything.
