Acquitted of DUI

I met with three attorneys after my DUI arrest. They all wanted $3000 or more --just to negotiate a plea. A clerk at the courthouse told me about Matt. He charged $2500 and told me that he would try the case for no additional fee if he could not get the charge dismissed. The DA refused to dismiss and... Matt argued my case to a jury. I was found not guilty. Matt saved my career. He is my lawyer for life.

Your jury heard the evidence and followed the law to reach a not guilty verdict. I am excited that you can put the charges behind you.

Acquitted of DUI/DWAI

Mr. Walker represented me a little under a year ago forma DUI case. Mr. Walker was very knowledgeable about not only the specifics of the laws, but also the way in which I should compose myself during the trial itself. He was very animated when addressing the arresting officer and had a keen ear for ...subtle words choices and mistakes in the officers statements. I was found not guilty not only on the charge or DUI but also not guilty on the lesser charge of DWAI. Mr. Walker has now helped two members of my family and we will not be looking for any other attorney any time soon.

Your case was fascinating. Refusal DUI's are very difficult to win but your arresting officer's testimony was problematic for the jury.

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
