Biography
Attorney Kenneth M. Hallum is a criminal defense lawyer, admitted to the California State Bar Association in 2004. As a private defense attorney, he has also served as a conflict public defender, and court appointed criminal defense attorney.
In 2021, Ken introduced bankruptcy representation in response to the needs of so many from the disastrous economic climate brought about by the pandemic and COVID-19.

Ken relies on his experience as a 22 year veteran of the police force and his service on a DUI enforcement unit to create a unique understanding of both sides of the law. Admitted to the California State Bar Association in 2004, he soon opened his law practice and settled into Santa Barbara.
Ken has two young sons, Carter and Tanner and is an active member of the Santa Barbara youth sports community. Ken’s law practice focuses on all aspects of traffic law and DUI, from underage DUI and field sobriety tests to major DUI infractions.

I worked with Ken on my speeding ticket. The ticket was issued in California but I live in Illinois. I initially thought the long distance was going to be a problem, but Ken reassured me and guaranteed he would take care of everything, and he did. Great service would use agin!
