Biography
Attorney Kenneth M. Hallum is a criminal defense lawyer, admitted to the California State Bar Association in 2004. As a private defense attorney, he has also served as a conflict public defender, and court appointed criminal defense attorney.
In 2021, Ken introduced bankruptcy representation in response to the needs of so many from the disastrous economic climate brought about by the pandemic and COVID-19.

Ken has two young sons, Carter and Tanner and is an active member of the Santa Barbara youth sports community. Ken’s law practice focuses on all aspects of traffic law and DUI, from underage DUI and field sobriety tests to major DUI infractions.

Help with a speeding ticket
Ken was very helpful with a speeding ticket I received in California. I live in New Hampshire so having someone that could walk me through the process and go to court for me was extremely helpful. He updated me throughout the process and the end the ticket was dismissed.

An outstanding attorney!
I was unfortunate in getting a speeding ticket under some strange circumstances. Ken represented me in the case and was responsive, super helpful in explaining my options (but never cavalier or overpromising), and he eventually got the ticket dismissed without a court appearance. He’s superb!
