Jessica Stern sold her law firm - STERN Law, LLC - in July 2023, which which she has no further affiliation. After owning and operating the first 100% CrImmigration Law Firm for 10 years, Jessica maintains an expertise in CrImmigration Law and will continue to offer this knowledge for years to come. While Jessica is not currently taking on new clients for direct representation, she does consider requests for expert consulting services and policy analysis. Jessica is also developing a film production initiative to tell the stories of countless . citizens and those charged with crimes who have become mere fodder for political gain, yet are completely misunderstood.
Jessica has been approved as an expert by the U.S. District Court in the area of immigration law consequences of criminal offenses. She is extremely knowledgeable about post-conviction relief options for . citizens and enjoys counseling criminal defense attorneys with clients in an active criminal matter through the Padilla Immigration Consequences analysis. Jessica sits on policy advisory councils, both for government agencies and NGOs. She offers commentary for TV and print media outlets to help the general public better understand complex issues of immigration and criminal law & process.
Jessica is admitted to the Bar in the State of Georgia, the Georgia Court of Appeals, the Georgia Supreme Court, and the U.S. Supreme Court. Jessica is also admitted to practice before all Immigration Courts, the United States District Court in the Northern and Southern Districts of Georgia, with pro hac vice admission to various federal courts across the country. She’s an active member of the Georgia Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (GACDL) and the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA), serving as her local chapter’s Chair of the ICE liaison Committee for many years.
