Even after moving out of state, Mr. Tackett kept me updated on my case. I only wanted to make sure the doctor's bills were paid but he wouldn't have it. I am extremely pleased and would recommend him to anyone!

I Wish I Came To Him First

I really do wish that I had done my research and gone to Mr.Tackett from the beginning. The first lawyer that I hired for my car accident was from a big name company in the area and a friend of mine who used to work for him recommended him so I thought what could go wrong. Practically everything from... not getting back with me for two months, to asking me to resend paperwork that I had already sent in, to telling me that he doesn't believe that I would be getting much out of this case almost a year later! Changing over to Mr.Tackett was a decision I made based off of the reviews on this site as well as his background info particularly the part related to him having worked on the side of the insurance company so he knew how they thought. If I had a question I think that the longest it took for him to get back with me was the days end but it was usually an immediate phone call or email. I also didn't feel as if I needed to constantly contact him as he kept me in the loop with my case every step of the way. I learned more about my case with him than I ever did with the previous lawyer. And I absolutely love how you get him directly and not a secretary that you hoped passed on the message to him. Since he doesn't take on more than a certain number of cases at a time he was able to make you feel like you were his only client. I wasn't just another case to him as he was very concerned about my injuries and hopes that I can get back to my profession some day. Regarding the case itself we settled for everything that we asked for! A far cry from the previous attorney saying that I wouldn't get much at all! He fought hard for us and we didn't even have to go to court. The last thing that I want to do is go through another car accident but if I did I know exactly who to call without hesitation and you better believe that I will be giving his info to anyone who might need his expertise. Seriously, if you are still looking for a lawyer or are thinking about changing the one that you have look no further than Mr.Tackett. You will not regret that decision!

Personal Injury

I hired Attorney Tackett after I was involved in an accident. He is both personable and professional while caring about his clients' needs. I received a settlement without having to go to court, and I received it in an extremely timely manner. Dennis Tackett truly goes above and beyond for his client...s, and I would strongly recommend him !

Very friendly, And really keeps you informed.

Very friendly, professional, and timely, was able to get things done in a reasonable amount of time. Was very nice to talk to, if I'm ever in VA again with a legal need it will be him. I had gotten rear ended and had to go to a chiropractor for a while, he not only helped set it up, bit also ma...de sure the finances were taken care of from the insurance company, he also kept me informed so that I knew the status of the case. Very nice and talks to you like a person and answers any questions you may have. I would definitely recommend him.

Wrongful Death Case

I previously heard great things about Atty Tackett in Virginia Beach.I hired Atty Tackett to handle my fathers wrongful death case in Virginia Beach. Now I know first hand why these things were said about him. He was with my family and me every step of the way. We asked him to come to the hospital. M...any a day he sat with us talking, encouraging us, laughing and even crying. He stayed with us when our dad was passing. He Joined us for our dads memorial service. Atty Tackett left no stone unturned investigating our fathers unusual death. Even when the police dept was not cooperating, he kept moving forward. He would send me updates practically everyday. I never had a phone call or email go unanswered. He also was Very calm and patient with our endless questions and comments, and we had a lot. Of course money does not bring our dad back but the large settlement that Atty Tackett negotiated for us would make my dad look down and smile. Thank you to Atty Dennis Tackett for outstanding work on our families behalf. He is the best!
