Let me start off with saying the only reason I didn't give the five star rating is because my case is still active. But I am almost sure that by the end of this, she will have all five stars by me. Betsy does her job very well. She is a well educated lawyer who knows what she is doing and does it r...ight. She's highly informative and wants to do what's best for her clients. Although my case is not yet over, I have high confidence in her to accomplish what I expect. She is very open and honest and gives it to you straight up. Which is a good quality when fighting for what's best. She has worked hard for my case so far and I am very pleased with the direction it's headed in. I'm grateful to have had a chance to find such an honest, hardworking and trustworthy lawyer. I am looking forward to having her get things done the right way and to try to help me restore some normalcy for my children and I.

I have never met any other lawyer/ caring person like Betsy in my life when I came to her she was straight forward and did not sugar coat any thing I was a nervous wreak and waiting a 2 year in progress divorce that other lawyers just kept bleeding me dry of money and my soul I just wanted it to be o...ver. Betsy called me right back and got me in the same day flat rate and in 7 days got my life back she will always be my first choice when I am ever in need of help and I would respectful never forget her. I highly recommend betsy to anyone I was going through a bitter divorce and had another attorney who really messed my case up and was dragging it out and I called betsy to help me out she explained very well what I was up against after it was all said and done with I couldn't be happier with the divo...rce and no matter what time by text or email she would answer I had a complete mess on my hands and betsy cleaned it up quickly efficiently and I highly recommend her to anyone! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Attorney Walits was very unprofessional, to say the least! She often held meetings with me and even came to court with wet hair as if she was not completely ready for the day. On occassion she used swear words in an attempt to show her disdain for my husband and his attorney's tactics. At the time I ...thought nothing of it, but in hindsight, I realize it was an attempt to bolster her credibility and make me feel more secure in her ability to take care of my case. She was more words than action! She would never provide a written statement as to where I stood financially with her. She made promises that were not kept, and seemed to only want to drag out my case for more money. I felt I was not represented well, and eventually let her go only to hire a new attorney to finish a job she was not well equipped to do. I chose her because her claim was that of a child advocate, and she claimed to make divorce easier on the children. In the end, she did more harm to my children during the divorce because I was constantly worried about not being well represented. I know this is only my opinion, but if it helps even one person, then it was worth it! Divorce is not easy on anyone involved. Do your homework, and choose your attorney wisely!

My husband and I moved here and were confronted with issues both contractual and of a discrimminatory nature which put his job in jeapardy, and would have meant serious repercussions for his career. We were put in contact with Betsy through lawyers referral, and she was the best. Although there wer...e many approaches to our problem, she realized that what we wanted was to keep the job and avoid filing lawsuits, etc. With that in mind, her strategies were designed with that goal in mind. She was successful, my husband kept his job and things are going very well for him now. What I liked best was her availability. She was there, to answer questions, listen and respond to our anxieties, which were many and often.. there was no secretary, to take messages and have you wait for a call back - she made you feel as though your problem was her most important one. We have dealt with many lawyers over the years and I would say she is one of the best if not the best. She understands that law and devises variety of strategies to use as a response to what happens. She has a great understanding of the law. We would highly recommend her.
