I retained Betsy for a child support modification case. I was stationed overseas at the time but she made it very easy for me to handle everything that needed to be done. Every time I submitted paperwork and had a question regarding the case there would be an email for me answering all questions. ...She made herself available to me by telephone since I was not able to be there in person. The professionalism in the way she handled herself and the legal advice provided allowed me to make some sensible decisions while protecting my rights at the same time. I retained Betsy to fight a custody case that had been going on for almost three years and had covered 3 different states. My opinion of this case was that it was a complete mess by the time jurisdiction was turned over to Porter County Family Court. Betsy took control over this mess and was able t...o get everything organized, but because of continuous allegations from the father of the kids against my family and I and countless motions submitted by the opposing attorney it remained a very difficult case. It would take a book the size of the novel "War and Peace" to describe all the details in this case, but happily I can say that Betsy came out victorious in this war and now my family can have peace. Thanks Betsy for a job well done!

Let me start off with saying the only reason I didn't give the five star rating is because my case is still active. But I am almost sure that by the end of this, she will have all five stars by me. Betsy does her job very well. She is a well educated lawyer who knows what she is doing and does it r...ight. She's highly informative and wants to do what's best for her clients. Although my case is not yet over, I have high confidence in her to accomplish what I expect. She is very open and honest and gives it to you straight up. Which is a good quality when fighting for what's best. She has worked hard for my case so far and I am very pleased with the direction it's headed in. I'm grateful to have had a chance to find such an honest, hardworking and trustworthy lawyer. I am looking forward to having her get things done the right way and to try to help me restore some normalcy for my children and I.

At first Betsy was a very kind and considerate person. I had a child custody, visitation, and child support case. She seemed to really know her stuff and took care of the matters that needed to be addressed but when it was time tp go to court she basically just sat back and did nothing. She never p...resented any of the evidence I had which was very important to my case and would have helped tremendously. She didn't stand up for me wt all and just took whatever the judge dished out. When I had issues with my daughter's father on him violating the court order repeatedly she never did anything to help he basically got away with all the violations that he did. Also after we went to court the child support issue was supposed to be dealt with, figured out, and I shouldve been getting my child support but I'm not and its been 3 months and every time I questioned her about it I was told it takes time. Ive filed for child support myself before and it NEVER took 3 months. Shes very lazy and never calls you back and also if betsy and her secretary know your # and know that your a persistent person and demand answers they won't even answer the phone. I had full trust and faith in her that she would help me and my case but nothing got resolved. If I would've known the type of person she is and how she operates I NEVER would've wasted a dime on her. Shes literally the worst attorney ive ever met. Unless you want to do all the leg work yourself DO NOT hire this woman!!

I have never met any other lawyer/ caring person like Betsy in my life when I came to her she was straight forward and did not sugar coat any thing I was a nervous wreak and waiting a 2 year in progress divorce that other lawyers just kept bleeding me dry of money and my soul I just wanted it to be o...ver. Betsy called me right back and got me in the same day flat rate and in 7 days got my life back she will always be my first choice when I am ever in need of help and I would respectful never forget her.
