I'm sure every real estate deal has its quirks. Ours (our first), had a *lot* of quirks. Seemingly _every_ single detail was a point of contention, from negotiation of particular contract contingencies, to enforcing the contract to get a clear title (there were open DOB permits and an SWO) before clo...sing, to negotiating concessions for conditions disclosed in the final walkthrough, all the way down to the time of day of closing. Alexia had our back every step of the way and seemingly won every battle she fought. We feel very fortunate to have had her on our team. This deal would have been really perilous and we might have ended up in bad shape without her foresight, experience, relentlessness, and attention to detail.

Alexia has been nothing short of incredible throughout the whole process! Lawyers can very often overcomplicate things and if they're not responsive it can ultimately cost you the deal. Alexia immediately responds to texts, calls, and email. It was such a point of comfort knowing that I had someon...e on my side that would get things done. I had the exact opposite experience when I was purchasing my home with another attorney, and it has made me appreciate what she does even more. I had a sticking point on my timeframe for closing, due to the start of the new school year. This was the only change the buyers were asking for, so she made sure to personally call their lawyer, so that it didn't come across harshly through email.
