I'm sure every real estate deal has its quirks. Ours (our first), had a *lot* of quirks. Seemingly _every_ single detail was a point of contention, from negotiation of particular contract contingencies, to enforcing the contract to get a clear title (there were open DOB permits and an SWO) before clo...sing, to negotiating concessions for conditions disclosed in the final walkthrough, all the way down to the time of day of closing.
