Bulldog DUI Lawyer

Ted is an incredible defense attorney. If you have any sort of alcohol related case, this is the guy you want in your corner. He attacks a case from every angle and with a bulldog like mentality. He also doesn't nickle and dime you with miscellaneous fees. He gives you a fair and accurate rate quote,... and you will get more than your money's worth from him. He knows the best people in the business and is well respected by his peers, and feared by many a prosecuting attorney. He is also one heck of an expert witness himself. He will give you the best chance possible, even if you think there is none. I can't begin to reccomend Ted highly enough if you need an attorney who will fight for you to the end.

"I endorse this lawyer.I endorse this lawyer. Superb knowledge of not only defenses, laws and procedures, but unsurpassed in the science of Forensic law. I have never know an attorney with such drive, compassion and knowledge as Ted Vosk. He gets my unequivocal endorsement. The field of criminal defense would be sorely lacking without his presence. I consider him to exemplify what we all aspire to be in our professions and in our lives."

"Ted is an excellent lawyer and defender of our rights. He is well known in Washington and across the country as a very skillful lawyer. His efforts in the area of uncertainty calculations in blood and breath testing and how to use that as a defense to your charges has led to saving thousands of people in Washington and across the country from false convictions. Mr. Vosk will fight for you and put his scientific and courtroom skills to work in defending you."

DUI and DWI lawyer | Mar 27

Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community

"Ted is one of the most brilliant attorneys around. I have consulted with him on many cases. I have also referred him some extremely challenging legal issues, including a case that he argued in front of the Washington State Supreme Court - and won. Ted's knowledge of the law and science is unsurpassed. He is tenacious for his clients, whether they be a defendant he is representing, or an attorney he is assisting. What is remarkable about Ted is that he has both a national reputation and the ability to roll up his sleeves and do the hard work that it takes to fight for the little guy. If you want a great attorney then you should consider hiring Ted."

DUI and DWI lawyer | Mar 24

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I have known Ted for a little less than 10 years. In those years i have collaborated, schemed, and bantered about countless ideas with him that have turned in to issues that have helped our clients. I have tried cases along side Ted, written motions with him, argued motions with him, written appeals with him, and argued those motions and appeals with him. From start to finish; pre-trial through trial and beyond, Ted is the complete DUI defense package in one attorney. Ted's background in science benefits everyone from individual clients to citizens of Washington. The scientific background along with the desire to win, and win by the rule of law makes Ted a tremendous force on his own, and as a team member he is selfless and focused on the best result for the client. I, without a doubt, endorse Ted Vosk."

"Ted is not only a talented attorney, but a talented scientist as well. This makes him the "go to" guy for any case involving forensics or other technical scientific issues. He has received national recognition for his exposure of the flaws at the Washington state toxicology laboratory."

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"I have had the pleasure of both working with Ted, and observing him in court. I have been humbled by his zealous dedication to the representation of his clients. Ted has the unique blend of a gifted legal mind, and a scientist's inquisitive nature. We are blessed that these elements have been brought together in a person of courage, willing to undertake “unwinnable battles.” Ted is not a “Don Quixote”, simply tilting at windmills. Ted gets results.."

Criminal defense lawyer | Mar 13

Relationship: Worked together on matter

"People often refer to a particular lawyer as "brilliant." Ted really is brilliant. He practices law like a chess master, always seeing several moves ahead of the opponent or judge. His contributions to criminal defense in Washington State and nationally have been far-reaching. What is unique about Ted is that he has a strong background and interest in science, and also in the law. This background in science well-prepared him to take on the Washington State Toxicology Laboratory and force them to change their processes and to be come accredited. Ted and I worked on a landmark case in Washington, City of Fircrest v. Jensen, in which the court rejected the legislature's clear intention to make all breath tests admissible, and instead, gave judges even broader power to suppress unreliable, inaccurate breath test results in DUI cases. Ted and I have done a jury trial together also. I've seen Ted in action on many challenges and motions and I most strongly endorse him."

"Mr. Vosk is an outstanding attorney and highly regarded on the filed of DUI defense. I had the pleasure of working with him on a challenge to the admissibility of BAC tests in the Kent Municipal court. The result of his work in the matter was the suppression of dozens, if not hundreds, of test results. I endorse Mr. Vosk without reservation."

"Ted Vosk is a brilliant lawyer. His work showing the unreliability of blood and breath test evidence has not only resulted in the dismissal of charges for many of his clients, it has helped other lawyers around the country. Ted is recognized nationally as a leader in challenging scientific evidence. If my wife or one of my children was charged with a crime, I would send them to Ted without hesitation."

"First let me state that I do not endorse a lot of lawyers. However, I would be doing a dis-service if I failed to recommend Ted. Ted is one of the smartest DUI defense attorneys in the country. He stays current with recent developments in the law, is responsive, technically astute, deeply experienced. Above all, he has a deep concern for the well being of his clients. He gets my strongest recommendation."

"I endorse Ted Vosk without hesitation. I met Ted a number of years ago at a national seminar on DUI/DWI defense. I was immediately impressed with Ted's knowledge, character and ability as a trial lawyer. Since that time Ted has emerged as a national resource in fighting against bad police science in the courtroom. I am honored to endorse Ted Vosk and can think of no one better to have in the courtroom to fight against junk science. If you are facing a DWI in the state of Washington you need Ted in your corner. I am the Texas DWI Dude and Ted Vosk is my Washington "go to guy" for battles in the courtroom. jamie balagia"

"There are few lawyers in the country that rival Mr. Vosk's understanding of scientific issues in DWI/DUI cases. Mr. Vosk, along with some other lawyers across the country are at the tip of the spear in attacking bad state science. Mr. Vosk attends the best training in the country on DWI defense, and he even teaches at these seminar's. I enthusiastically endorse the work of Mr. Vosk. "Ted Vosk is one of the most respected and successful lawyers in America. DUI defense requires a lawyer that is a master of the courtroom and a master of the science laboratory. Ted Vosk (along with Tom Workman in Massachusetts) is considered THE very best in America at analyzing and exposing the faults in blood and breath tests. I recently attended a lecture that he gave on the subject at the National College of DUI Defense, and I was only one of the hundreds of lawyers present who were stunned by his abilities. I would not hesitate to send a close friend or family mamber to Ted Vosk."

"Ted Vosk is simply one of the most brilliant people I have ever known. In addition to being a scientist who is a member of the National Academy, he is Harvard educated lawyer and a master at litigation. Ted works tirelessly for his clients. He dissects his cases like a surgeon and attacks his opponents like a prize fighter. Anyone who has the ability to retain Mr. Vosk should hire him. If another attorney suggests that Mr. Vosk should be consulted or associated into a case it is becase his Mr. Vosk is is a forensic scientist as well as an attorney. Mr. Vosk and I have worked for nearly ten years. I know him to be higly ethical, effective and uniquely qualified attorney. In difficult cases I always feel confident and lucky to have Ted on board. When Ted is brought into a case, no stone will be left unturned and even the most difficult scientific issues will be made clear. This is a man with a well deserved, national reputation for being consistently right."

Avvo Rating

Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals. Attorneys who claim their profiles and provide Avvo with more information tend to have a higher rating than those who do not.

What determines Avvo Rating?
  • Experience & background Years licensed, work experience, education
  • Legal community recognition Peer endorsements, associations, awards
  • Legal thought leadership Publications, speaking engagements
  • Discipline Disciplinary information may not be comprehensive, or updated. We recommend that you always check a lawyer's disciplinary status with their respective state bar association before hiring them.
