I hired Robert for a DUI case. The arresting officer had submitted that I had refused the breath test. Robert clearly laid out my options and fully explained each of the potential outcomes. Robert was willing to argue the case further, but I accepted a reckless driving charge because it was the safer option.
Even though the odds were stacked against me, Robert was not only able to get the charge reduced, but he also got the matter completely dismissed with the DOL.
If you are the kind of person who wants to fully understand every procedure, note that he is extremely literal and direct. If you are really listening to what he has to say, everything is explained. He is antagonistic and can be difficult to get along with, but he also has a good sense of humor and he is a very strong attorney.

Mr. Schiffner is a fabulous person who works day and night for his clients. I was in a complicated situation being a Canadian citizen charged for narcotic conspiracy charges after a weekend in the gorge. Mr. Schiffner found the best solution for my situation and I have no doubt he fought relentlessly for my best interests. Speaking to other people who have gone through legal matters (of all sorts) I can definitely say that Mr. Schiffner went above and beyond by several metrics. While he is not inexpensive there is no doubt that it was the best money I have spent in my life.

Mr Schiffner was a bulldog when we needed someone to be our legal advocate. He's loving and charismatic but does what needs to be done in court when it seems the system is rigged against you. My brother would be in jail to this day if Robert hadn't have hired investigators and defended him for crimes he didn't commit. We are forever grateful!

Mr. Schiffner and I are members of Washington Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers. I have had the pleasure of dealing with Mr. Schiffner through this organization and I can recommend him without reservation as an excellent and principled attorney who not only zealously advocates for his clients but who also supports his colleagues in the ultimate pursuit of justice.
