Jeremy J Bishop

When I hired Mr. Bishop as my attorney I felt very sure that Mr. Bishop would have my back when the time came. In early January, Mr. Bishop was given all the required paperwork in he would need to file on my behalf. By mid-March he had failed to file these court documents in a timely manner require...d, resulting in the other legal side a complete win. After his failure, if I questioned Mr. Bishop he felt that I was being hostile. If I provided additional information that he did not specifically asked for then I was venting. His non-action in my case not only cost me the lost in court, a notice that I was fired as his client, and insulted by him. All of which I had to then pay him the sum of $856.00 in payment. I’ve kept all email and other correspondences to support this review. However, I must say that his assistant cares very much about his clients, Mr. Bishop cares more about his own feelings being hurt. He could have handled everything from the start much better than blaming his client for his failure.

Without going into specifics, we hired Mr. Bishop to assist with a child custody matter. The issue was time sensitive and he knew this going in. He was extremely difficult to get a hold of, even via email. He was unable to assist us in a timely fashion. We wasted precious time and money. I do not rec...ommend.

I had a horrible experience with Jeremy. He missed the deadlines to acquire financial info from my ex. He then threw insults at me to goad me into firing him. When I didn't, he quit. When my ex tried to slip something through the court in the 10 days Jeremy was supposed to represent me after he'd... given notice, Jeremy's office didn't even inform me of what was in court. When I walked into court that day, Jeremy was sitting there and was clearly distressed that I had found out about the hearing. This man has no scruples.

Jeremy represented me in a paternity/child support case. Aside from he and his personal assistant being unrepsonsive (waiting days even weeks to hear back) he would tell me the need to be at court was neglible but come back with results that didn't touch base on anything I had discussed with him in p...erson and through letters. How can I trust my lawyer fully when he neglects to present information or follow through on the wants/needs of his client? He's quick to charge you for every minute of his time, though.
