A man of integrity
Jeremy takes a personal interest in your case. He gets to know you, not just your case. He makes it a point to listen carefully to your concerns, worries, and goals and takes that into account in order to best represent you. He will not force his opinion on you and demand that you do it his way. He is quick to respond to questions and requests and will treat you as if you were his only client even though he is very busy with multiple cases. Jeremy is a man of integrity. You can trust him. His goal is to best represent you, not himself. The client comes first.

Jeremy Bishop, excellent family counsel
I was very impressed with Mr. Bishop when my family was dealing with a very trying time regarding our adult daughter. Mr. Bishop was knowledgeable and compassionate and understood the dynamics of our families issue. He was able to represent us in a way that not only gave us the outcome we were looking for but assured my wife and I that we are good parents that care about our daughters welfare. I would highly recommend Jeremy to any client that is looking for a passionate, knowledgeable and caring counsel, he was a true life saver for us.

Child custody/ legal separation
I hired and worked with Jeremy for the past 5 years and there is not one bad thing I can say about him. He is the type of man that will tell you the honest truth; he actually listens to what you have to say and to your concerns. I mean if he tells you he’s going to get it done and not to worry you best believe him because that’s exactly what he did for me. If I had any questions about anything I would email Martha his assistant and she was ALWAYS quit to respond back with an answer. I would recommend him to anyone who’s looking a great Lawyer/Legal assistant those two make a great team.

Lots of Integrity
Jeremy handled my divorce. On my first visit to him, he advised me that in the present circumstance we could not really afford to get divorced. This prompted me to change my circumstances and then I returned and hired him. He was excellent! He is very principled and honest. I also found him to be very responsible with costs. He does not drive costs up unnecessarily. He was also very swift to respond to serious issues, even when he was on vacation. The divorce process is confusing and upsetting, and I wish that he had been a little more clear on a few things (or his expectations of a few things) but in the end it worked out well. I would hire him again and recommend him without reservation. It's rare to find a lawyer with as much integrity as he has.

Reasonable, honest, fair - and tough when needed
I've used Jeremy for divorce and post-secondary support. I sought his counsel through the divorce and was very happy with the quality and timeliness of his services. The post-secondary support action was considerably more difficult and contentious: hostile opposition who left the state and took a job paying less than half of what her current job paid after being served. Jeremy was very reasonable and focused on my needs. I was consistently impressed at how he worked my requests into the process. In court, there were a number of claims made by the opposition that Jeremy skillfully defended. I was also impressed at his conduct during those hearings: patient, focused, thoughtful, and respectful. When the time came to stand up and push back he held his ground and kept the focus on the issue. Rates were very reasonable and I felt that Jeremy and his team charged appropriately. There are probably cheaper lawyers out there, but after more than a few trips to court, I can't recommend any of them based on what I saw. After 22 months of zero payment by my son's mother, and with Jeremy's help (plus some good work from WA Department of Child Support working across state lines) I've received two deposits. Too many lawyers are quick to endorse a course of action that increases their fees without any real hope of a payout. Jeremy will tell you the facts and rules and focuses on helping you achieve the most positive outcome. That's the highest praise I can offer a lawyer.

Amazing lawyer with outstanding qualities!
I hired Jeremy to help with a family law/custody matter. Jeremy made sure I knew exactly what I was getting involved with from the very start. Jeremy was very responsive and quick to respond to all emails. Jeremy explained the pros and cons of each desired outcome. I can say without hesitation that as a family law attorney he is extremely knowledgeable, experienced, compassionate and dedicated, but firm and assertive on behalf of his clients’ goals. Jeremy has the amazing ability to make his clients feel respected and cared for. Jeremy helped me resolve a very complex case, and I cannot be thankful enough for his outstanding services in such a stressful and emotional time in my life. Jeremy far exceeded my expectation and I highly recommend him.

Highly recommended
Mr. Bishop made a potentially disastrous time in life into an efficient, matter-of-fact end to a challenging marriage. He was neither intimidating to me nor to my ex-spouse (something the opposing lawyer seemed to be well versed with practicing ). Jeremy gave me financial advice (and my case was complex) as well as guidance in regard to child custody that helped facilitate a rapid agreement. When he didn't know the answer to a financial query, he referred me to someone more well versed in the area. He could have done the job, but would have taken longer and thus cost me more. I was surprised and grateful to find that the last billable hour of my case coincided with the last dollar in my account. Mr. Bishop was kind, fair, knowledgeable on facts in a complicated case and reasonable in regard to price. His assistant was friendly, concerned, always available, easy to work with and competent. My original impression was that Mr. Bishop was too young to be effective against my husband, who is adept at confrontation and manipulation. I was rapidly proven wrong. I would recommend him to any friend and am appreciative for his expertise.

Child Support Modification-Jeremy and his assistant Lindsey were awesome!
My ex had requested a child support modification where she wanted almost 3x's what I was already paying and was way more then she needed! The state had already reviewed both of our incomes and expenses and had decided to double my child support, which I thought wasn't right either. I was in complete agreement that I should pay more but it still needed to be fair. At my consultation while reviewing the paperwork Jeremy noticed that the state did not take into accountability that I have another 2 biological children with my wife that I obviously help support and adding my other 2 children to the paperwork calculation should have lowered my child support amount to where is should have been. Not to mention that he told me that because I had been current on my child support payments for years I should have been claiming my child on my taxes every other year, I had no idea I could do this! My wife and I decided to hire Jeremy to get the child support payments where it needed to be, as hiring him would save us Lots of money in the long run and it did. Jeremy and his assistant Lindsey were always in communication with us about everything, it was great. They e-mailed or called us every time something new was going on and to keep us in the loop about what my ex , her attorney and the state wanted to do. And they didn't nickel and dime us every time they called, emailed or sent us something. In fact they only charged us for his time in court, with the other attorney or doing paperwork. Most attorneys I've ever dealt with charged me every time we spoke or emailed so it was so nice to get my bills and see that they were not doing this. By the time everything was done Jeremy got the child support payment amount EXACTLY where he said it should be when we first met at my first Consultation! My family and I are very happy with all the work that Jeremy and Lindsey did. I would hire him again in a heart beat and will recommend him in the future to anyone looking for a great attorney!

The right choice!
I hired Mr. Bishop for help with a mediation for a parenting plan that my ex and I no longer agreed to. I live in another state (my daughter was born there, and her dad lives there, all of our court documents have to be done in WA). I was very concerned about hiring an unknown lawyer that I would not get a chance to meet. I am so thankful that he was recommended to me. Right from the start, Mr. Bishop listened to my concerns, and fears about the case, and made me very comfortable. He never made me feel like I was taking up to much of his time with my concerns, and always answered my questions quickly and honestly. He did not make empty promises, and always told me what he thought would happen, even if it was not the outcome I wanted. He also worked with me on the child support hearings, and the outcome for the parenting plan and child support was very satisfying to me. I would recommend him to anyone looking to hire a family law attorney who cares about his clients! I will hire him in the future, if the need arises.

Trustworthy and Knowledgeable
Jeremy handled my divorce case in 2010. He was very knowledgeable, and answered all of my questions. Going through a divorce is hard, and Jeremy was able to answer all of my questions and give me advice. He also returned all of my calls promptly which is very hard to find these days. About twice a year I have a quick question about my parental plan or our divorce situation, and he always promptly eases my concerns. More importantly, Jeremy kept the process quick and simple, which avoided any stress on either party during the divorce. My former spouse and I maintain a relationship for the sake of our child, and it makes our day to day life much easier. I have also referred friends and family to Jeremy for Wills and Estate planning, and he has completed the projects quick, and at a fair price.

lawer with integrity. He cares about his clients. He is kind and listens
Jeremy Bishop is an up and comming lawyer in this community. He is committed to helping in ways that go beyond the scope of practice. He refered me to a financial counselor and a personal counselor as I struggled through a very painful and confusing divorce. I can not say enough about this person and recommend him without reservation. I fired my previous lawer because she followed a cookbook and did not consider the things unique to my divorce. She fed me to the wolves. Jeremy was a breath of freash air. I felt he was on my side throughout the proceedings

Excellent Choice for Child Support Lawyer
I was suddenly served a notice to appear - my ex-husband was filing for 50/50 Custody of our two girls. The thought of such an arrangement was frightful since the girls had resided with me a majority of their life - 12 years. Luckily I chose to call Roach Law office and was assigned Jeremy Bishop as my attorney. From our very first meeting Jeremy was concise in his direction and what he felt were the best options I should go ahead with. He was very quick at following up with any issues discussed in our meetings. I usually had a response that same day. When it came time to argue our case to the Judge – Jeremy was amazing! He was able to recite my history, key facts as to why 50/50 was not the best option for the children, and recite quotes from the Ex’s testimony that proved it was not the best choice – and this was all with no notes!! The judge agreed with Jeremy in that 50/50 was not the best choice. With a lot of help from Jeremy’s assistant I was able to get a revised parenting plan that the ex agreed with. She also, was very responsive and followed up with any questions I may have had. I would strongly suggest that anyone needing a Family Law Attorney to choose Jeremy Bishop.

Great lawyer, horrible staff
I almost feel guilty writing this review as Jeremy took my case on when he was already full and did a solid job for me. I was impressed with him as a lawyer and can see why he comes so highly recommended by clients and colleagues alike. If I could keep communication between him and I alone I’d use him again if need be. Unfortunately that’s not the way it works. I did not care for his assistant and some of the other staff at times. She was short with me and consistently rude, as I felt on multiple occasions as though I was being talked down to, constantly interrupted and talked over, and as though I was an inconvenience when I had questions or needed an explanation. She was also conveniently out of the office often which was frustrating as she was the only person designated to speak with me as a client of Jeremy’s. To have a job representing a lawyer, or working with people and FOR people, you’d think staff members would be more kind, helpful, and overall pleasant, but unfortunately it just wasn’t the case in my experience, and for that reason I wouldn’t return to this firm even though I did like Jeremy.

Failure to File Documents in a Timely Manner
When I hired Mr. Bishop as my attorney I felt very sure that Mr. Bishop would have my back when the time came. In early January, Mr. Bishop was given all the required paperwork in he would need to file on my behalf. By mid-March he had failed to file these court documents in a timely manner required, resulting in the other legal side a complete win. After his failure, if I questioned Mr. Bishop he felt that I was being hostile. If I provided additional information that he did not specifically asked for then I was venting. His non-action in my case not only cost me the lost in court, a notice that I was fired as his client, and insulted by him. All of which I had to then pay him the sum of $856.00 in payment. I’ve kept all email and other correspondences to support this review. However, I must say that his assistant cares very much about his clients, Mr. Bishop cares more about his own feelings being hurt. He could have handled everything from the start much better than blaming his client for his failure.

Wildly unimpressed.
Without going into specifics, we hired Mr. Bishop to assist with a child custody matter. The issue was time sensitive and he knew this going in. He was extremely difficult to get a hold of, even via email. He was unable to assist us in a timely fashion. We wasted precious time and money. I do not recommend.

No moral base.
I had a horrible experience with Jeremy. He missed the deadlines to acquire financial info from my ex. He then threw insults at me to goad me into firing him. When I didn't, he quit. When my ex tried to slip something through the court in the 10 days Jeremy was supposed to represent me after he'd given notice, Jeremy's office didn't even inform me of what was in court. When I walked into court that day, Jeremy was sitting there and was clearly distressed that I had found out about the hearing. This man has no scruples.

Not good representation for family Law
Jeremy represented me in a paternity/child support case. Aside from he and his personal assistant being unrepsonsive (waiting days even weeks to hear back) he would tell me the need to be at court was neglible but come back with results that didn't touch base on anything I had discussed with him in person and through letters. How can I trust my lawyer fully when he neglects to present information or follow through on the wants/needs of his client? He's quick to charge you for every minute of his time, though.
