Matthew J Dudley

I was getting divorced and I had 3 different people I know recommended him, because he was the lawyer who made there lawyer look like a fool in court! So these are people who lost to Matthew in court and there recommending him! Matthew was excellent, he's a shark in court, highly motivated to help y...ou and when I had an emergency he responded immediately and took care of business. I would never recommend anyone else! Believe me you want Matthew to be on your side in court and you definitely don't want him to be standing next to the other party.

I contacted Mr. Dudley in December of 2019 when I was still pregnant and he gave me legal advice, in which I did not listen to. I tried to be civil with my ex and do a parenting plan on our own to avoid trial. (I regret this now) I got served a proposed parenting plan from my ex and he was trying to ...take 100% custody of our daughter that he had not seen for months. I contacted Mr. Dudley and hired him. He made me cry a total of 3 times throughout the proceedings. 2 of which were happy tears. The other time he was calling me out for mistakes I have made during the process, and was my own doing. My case will be heard in court again, and I will be calling him back. Mr. Dudley doesn’t have paralegals and the information you give him doesn’t get lost in the office with multiple people. He knows the cases well and delivers results far beyond what I even asked for. He doesn’t care if he ticks off the other side (even the other lawyers) and fights hard and tirelessly for his clients. He even works on the weekends and I’ve spoke with him as late as 8 PM weekdays.

I would only recommend Matthew Dudley if you want to win in Family Court. In May of 2020, I found myself in the unenviable position of needing to file for non-parental custody of my 7 year old grandson after circumstances necessitated that he come live with me. My household is somewhat non-traditiona...l, as I am single and disabled, so you can imagine my concern when I found myself filing for custody. I called Mr. Dudley specifically for trial based upon reviews I read on lawyers' ratings websites like this one, and he did not disappoint. He returned my call the next day, and I hired him. True to the reviews I read, Mr. Dudley did not just tell me what I wanted to hear about our case. He was forward and to the point about case details, and never wasted my time. He kept me in the loop as to what he was doing with the case. He saved me from having to re-file by accelerating the trial date, as new rules that I was not aware of took effect in 2021. Last but not least, he was an absolute bulldog in court. He had a commanding presence during trial that showed me he had done his homework. Matthew Dudley was a consummate professional from start to finish. We got everything we asked for, including full custody. My grandson is safe with me.

I hired Matthew to represent me in a very difficult divorce. The opposing party was particularly uncooperative, and Matthew really had to tolerate a good bit of challenging behavior. Matthew is a lawyer, not a mental health counselor, and he practices law very capably. He didn't waste my time or reso...urces with unnecessary activities, though he did periodically check in with me by phone to ensure that I was "ok" during this process. He got me better results than I had even hoped for, protecting my assets and ensuring I was not encumbered by debts for which I was not responsible. Matthew is very much down to business and straight to the point, and he was respectful of my preference to not take advantage of, or bulldoze, the opposing party. I very much appreciate that Matthew is available outside of regular business hours, because his willingness to meet with me during evenings and weekends kept me from wasting a lot of vacation time at work. I highly recommend Matthew if you want streamlined, no-nonsense legal representation with positive results!

Matthew Dudley is the best! Tough as nails, straight forward communication and works long extended hours on evenings and weekends. He understood my case well, called me out of my own BS and baggage and work tirelessly in the face of my ex-wife’s several lawyers. He was fairly priced, counseled me ...personally with bits of good advice and professionally. I contacted him years latter as additional healthcare and educational issues came up with the ex and he remembered me and my case well. He jumped right back into helping me navigate current issues.
