Matthew has been the best thing that has happened to me and my family. He is always there when I need him, quick to answer questions, and is always straight to the point. He is very honest, compassionate and always has my best interest at heart. The best advice he ever gave me, "stop overthinking and... take the emotion out of it, you will begin to think clearly." Matthew Dudley was the second lawyer for my custody case and boy, I wish I would have used him first! Not only are his rates more then affordable but the way he handled my case showed his years of experience. This was a very difficult situation for my family and Dudley handled everything with such ea...se and care. Mr Dudley was referred to me by the counselor I was seeing. She said he was tough and he wins cases. I would only recommend Matthew Dudley if you want to win in Family Court. In May of 2020, I found myself in the unenviable position of needing to file for non-parental custody of my 7 year old grandson after circumstances necessitated that he come live with me. My household is somewhat non-traditiona...l, as I am single and disabled, so you can imagine my concern when I found myself filing for custody. I called Mr. Dudley specifically for trial based upon reviews I read on lawyers' ratings websites like this one, and he did not disappoint. He returned my call the next day, and I hired him. True to the reviews I read, Mr. Dudley did not just tell me what I wanted to hear about our case. He was forward and to the point about case details, and never wasted my time. He kept me in the loop as to what he was doing with the case. He saved me from having to re-file by accelerating the trial date, as new rules that I was not aware of took effect in 2021. Last but not least, he was an absolute bulldog in court. He had a commanding presence during trial that showed me he had done his homework.
