I had the good fortune of being referred to Matthew over three years ago, just as I was leaving an abusive marriage, and without even knowing it, I had unwittingly hired the BEST divorce lawyer in Spokane. Without his help, I have no doubt that I would have not been able to get away, gain temporary, ...and eventually be granted, final primary care of my children. He is a brilliant lawyer. A bit eccentric with a messy office, but that's the mark of genius. He aggressively represents his clients and is extremely protective of their best interests. He wins. In fact, I don't think I lost a single meaningful hearing. But he also won't allow you engage in futile legal pursuits. Shockingly, he is as affordable as he is aggressive. My ex spent eight times the amount I spent on his own aggressive, high-priced lawyer and ended up with less than what I had offered in the beginning. Matthew may be known for being a bulldog, but he's not a leach like some of his Spokane counterparts. He is not always nice. In fact, he's blunt, confronting, and will tell you hard truths about yourself. Get. Over. It. Getting a divorce is not about the customer service or bedside manner. It is the fight of your life, and he is hands down the best coach to have in your corner.

I have used Mr Dudley for my divorce and had a couple of friends use him. He can be a very difficult guy. Brought me to tears a couple times by pointing out my own stupidity but he's worth it. If your children are at stake and you want what is best for them Dudley will help you. He does not over prom...ise and you must do what he tells you to do. He will get you what he says he can. He is difficult to work with but put up with him because in the end you will want to hug him for keeping your children safe. He is very good at dealing with ex's who are bullies. I cannot reccomend him highly enough.

I had been through a couple different attorneys before finding Matthew (Cuddly Duddly). Part of the reason is that our case involved more than one state. So I had a different attorney in the previous state. Then upon moving here I initially started out with a different attorney who wasn't sure how t...o handle the case. I found Matt and I couldn't be happier! I walked out of court like I won the lottery! He accomplished exactly what I wanted. He is tough, intelligent, witty, sarcastic and an expert in his field. Most importantly he is feared and revered by the opposing side. The best money I have ever spent. With my previous laywer I felt like I wasted 2k and wish I could have returned the services and gotten a refund like you return an item that doesn't work. Hands down Mathew Dudley is the best Attorney in Spokane! Smart, aggressive, reasonable rates. There is no other attorney in spokane that can compare to Matt. He knows how to control a court room. Matt will aggressively work for you and your needs. Don't waste your time and money on another attorney ...you'll regret it.

When it comes to complicated ex's and cases, you need an aggressive attorney by your side. My situation was/is complicated to say the least. When I came to Matt, it was a mess. My previous attorney was a complete moron. So I was in need of a new one. First thing said, Matt is not your kumbaya attorne...y. He is straight and to the point to a fault. Lets face it, going through a divorce is no picnic and you need a terminator to fight for you. To be very frank that is what he was for me. I highly recommend him and I am very confident while I type this, that I would use him again, and most likely will; in the future. He was Aggressive in court, Firm with the other party when needed and was Responsive when I asked questions or seek advise. If you find yourself in a complicated state of being and you need a terminator, Matthew Dudley will be that for you. At the end of the day I am very pleased with my outcome and the work he has done for me and my family and because of it we are better off.
