Matthew J Dudley

Matthew has been the best thing that has happened to me and my family. He is always there when I need him, quick to answer questions, and is always straight to the point. He is very honest, compassionate and always has my best interest at heart. The best advice he ever gave me, "stop overthinking and... take the emotion out of it, you will begin to think clearly." I use this in all aspects of my life. He is the best lawyer I have ever dealt with and he is very much appreciated.

Matthew Dudley has represented me on and off in a parenting case over the past few years and I am so grateful for his help as there is no one else I’d rather have represent me! If anyone has anything negative to say about him, it’s because they were the ones going up against him and hate how powerles...s they are against him. My ex was even frustrated because he couldn’t find an attorney willing to take his case after the attorneys figured out they had to go up against Matthew. He also does not just tell you what you want to hear. He tells you like it is and there aren’t any surprises when it comes time to for your hearing. (Aside from the fact that I was totally stunned by how Matthew practically runs the show in the courtroom and is CLEARLY the most powerful voice.) My point is, that if you hire Matthew, you won’t be disappointed one bit. It also doesn’t hurt that his rates are more than likely the best you’ll find as well. Just don’t let you ex hire him before you do!

Never have I worked with a more pragmatic individual, nor someone as adept in their field of practice as Matthew Dudley. Our case stagnated in the family court system for a very long time, and I needed an attorney to help navigate the intricacies of our case. Mr. Dudley was recommended to me by a...n acquaintance who described him as a bulldog, and as someone you'd hope to avoid arguing against at trial. He's not the first attorney I had a consultation with, but he's the only one I'd recommend. Early on in our case, I recognized a trend among some family law attorneys. Too much effort was spent trying to protect their working relationships with fellow attorneys, gravitating toward appeasement rather than trying to accomplish what your family wants/needs. But that's not Matthew Dudley. If you have a case, this guy will unabashedly lean into any conflict and bring it to resolution. He's effectively engineered a process to help more clients than (what I believe to be) a normal amount for an attorney in Spokane. Court dates and the ensuing conflict used to be the most stressful thing about my life, and hiring this guy offered a new experience. Listening to the man argue your case is a marvel to behold. Attorneys are paid by the hour, and this guy's ethics don't allow him to run up your bill trying to coddle your ego, talk about your day, or commiserate about how awful your ex-spouse has been lately. He wants to help your family, and does a fantastic job. I'll likely never be able to repay him for what he's enabled us to do for our kids. 10/10 would recommend.

He doesn’t waste: time, money or effort. He is blunt and truthful. He wont coddle you or tell you what you want to hear in order to make money. He will tell you the truth, and that’s it. How do I know: I was on the ropes, fighting for my kids as a dad, blew $14k on a lawyer that lied, and had ...no options. Mr. Dudley took my case, and after 6-8 months of truthful guidance and legal help I won. If you read anything from anyone who didn’t like him the reason is simple: they lost to him, and/or they are liar. He dealis in truth, and not emotion.

Dudley is no games, he will tell you exactly how it is and only use what he knows is truth, fact and benefit you in the courtroom. From the moment I became Dudley’s client his soul focus was the safety and well being of my daughter. I tried and pushed multiple times to have Dudley let me settle and h...e let me try since I pushed for it so hard to be thrown back into my face by my ex husband. We ended up in trial and Dudley’s courtroom accomplishment was literally talked about all through the courthouse for weeks, I still hear people talking about it when I have to go there. He succeeded in the only thing that mattered to me and everything else I never expected. If you want to win Dudley is the only lawyer I would ever recommend. To his clients he is cuddled Dudley but to his opponents he is the most savage beast you will ever witness. It’s the reason the opposing lawyer will charge more to go up against him because they know they are in for a hard task.
