I cannot recommend Matthew Dudley highly enough. He is absolutely brilliant! He quickly identified several errors made by my ex's flashy, pristine suit-wearing attorney, with his fancy downtown office space. Matthew gets straight to the point and doesn’t indulge in unnecessary emotional discussions, ...which I had to keep reminding myself of during the process. Despite his no-nonsense approach, he is genuinely kind and showed real empathy when I was having a panic attack after one of our hearings. And yes, we won the case! Anyone who doesn’t appreciate him was likely on the opposing side. If you’re looking for a dedicated and effective attorney, you would be foolish not to hire Matthew Dudley. He truly knows the law!

Mr. Dudley was my lawyer for 3 + years and will be my future lawyer when the time comes. My case was a really tricky and sometimes complicated one. We were fighting my abusive ex and dealing with the case being even more complicated due to the ex being military court martialed and much of their inves...tigation couldn’t be released to me or my lawyer. He handled the situation beautifully though, and quickly learned how to handle some of the information coming from the military. The ex’s civilian lawyer was persistent and a snake in the grass. He pulled every thing he could and put me through hell, but once again Mr. Dudley did an amazing job handling him and all the many many court hearings. Yes, he’s a little rough around the edges. He’s not your therapist, he’s not going to sugarcoat things; he’s to the point and hates wasting time. He’s blunt and gets the job done. He’s amazing to watch in court and he slammed dunked won my case. I definitely want him in my corner and would hate to be going against him. All in all, he was a blessing to me and my kids. I will ALWAYS recommend him and definitely trust him as my lawyer to take care of things.

In my experience, it is rare that I feel compelled to write a review for someone unless they have done truly exceptional work. This is only the second time I have ever written a review, the first being for a mortgage lender. We hired Matthew Dudley to help us become de facto parents to our great granddaughter, and after a year of working with him, we went to trial. Matthew Dudley is an excellent trial lawyer, with a dynamic approach and a knack for finding and presenting key information that helped us get everything we asked for. He is also very respectful towards opposing counsel, and I believe that his attention to detail and careful preparation were key to our success in court.
