In my experience, it is rare that I feel compelled to write a review for someone unless they have done truly exceptional work. This is only the second time I have ever written a review, the first being for a mortgage lender. With that said, I have to say that Matthew Dudley is an extraordinary and ou...tstanding and somewhat miraculous family attorney who has truly gone above and beyond for us. We initially learned about Matthew Dudley through a friend, who had been turned down by him for representation. I was therefore hesitant when we first met, but Mr. Dudley quickly proved to be a no-nonsense attorney who tells the truth and is extremely direct, even to the point of being abrasive at times. He will not sugarcoat anything or act as a therapist, but rather, he will fight for you and your family. My father always told me to hire an attorney that other attorneys fear going up against, and Mr. Dudley fits that description. He is there to represent you and your family to the best of his ability. We hired Matthew Dudley to help us become de facto parents to our great granddaughter, and after a year of working with him, we went to trial. Matthew Dudley is an excellent trial lawyer, with a dynamic approach and a knack for finding and presenting key information that helped us get everything we asked for. He is also very respectful towards opposing counsel, and I believe that his attention to detail and careful preparation were key to our success in court. If you are considering hiring Matthew Dudley as your family attorney, I highly recommend him. He is dedicated to his clients, reasonably priced, and will always fight for you and your family. Just be sure to be honest with him and remember that he hates to repeat himself, so it is important to listen carefully to what he tells you. He will return your calls and emails as needed, although at times it may feel like you have not heard from him in a while - this is simply because there is no need for communication, and it is how he keeps his prices affordable. In short, you will not regret hiring Matthew Dudley as your attorney, and he will always be our family's go-to lawyer.

Matthew Dudley. An amazing lawyer. Tough. Direct. Straight forward and to the point. He doesn’t mess around. He is always available and punctual. He doesn’t waste his or your time. Leads you in the right direction with your case. Gives options on how to handle the paperwork if you are willing and ab...le to put in the work and charges accordingly at a fair price. I hired him for my divorce dealing with DM and 4 children. I didn’t care much for materialistic items but Dudley proved to handle that with finesse. I cared for my children’s safety and my own. He informed me of all possibilities and led me towards the most likely to take place. To our surprise the judge took a much more stern approach that resulted in my favor. He kept me from falling into my emotions and to think clearly and respectively. Which if you have or currently are going through a divorce you know how difficult it can be to not let your emotions take control. I was able to reach him at the most unexpected times for guidance on how to handle unexpected life events through out the divorce process. He is very communicative and keeps it simple. If you want someone who is going to coddle you, sympathize with you, or acknowledge your emotions, find yourself a counselor. Matthew Dudley is a lawyer and amazing at it. Don’t let his direct, stern, and disciplined character scare you away! You won’t regret hiring him.

I have nothing new to add that hasn't already been said about this man. He is amazing at what he does and I will forever be grateful for his help. I love that he makes himself available to clients, that he actually responds to emails and return calls. When I was looking around for a lawyer I can't te...ll you how many offices said that they 'would check the availability of their attorneys and get back to me' to never be heard from again. Mr. Dudley returned my call the same day and we were able to set up a time to meet that week. He was honest about what to expect, stayed in contact and provided me with everything I needed. Mr. Dudley is everything people say he is and there is a reason that he is one of the most recommended family law lawyers in our area. I would recommend him to anyone that thinks that they may be facing a difficult divorce or family law issue. I hope that I will never need to use him again, but should I ever face another issue he's going to be the only lawyer I call.

Matthew has been the best thing that has happened to me and my family. He is always there when I need him, quick to answer questions, and is always straight to the point. He is very honest, compassionate and always has my best interest at heart. The best advice he ever gave me, "stop overthinking and... take the emotion out of it, you will begin to think clearly." I use this in all aspects of my life. He is the best lawyer I have ever dealt with and he is very much appreciated.

Matthew Dudley was the second lawyer for my custody case and boy, I wish I would have used him first! Not only are his rates more then affordable but the way he handled my case showed his years of experience. This was a very difficult situation for my family and Dudley handled everything with such ea...se and care. There were times I would get ahead of myself, stress myself out on situations and question everything I was doing and as soon as I would check in with Dudley, he would instantly calm my nerves and make sure I knew I was doing my best for what was given. When Dudley shows up for court, he shows up more then prepared. Not once did I ever leave feeling like more should have been said, or that I wasn't being heard by anyone. He was also very compassionate to my situation but he knew when to pull me back to reality instead of letting my mind wonder. I will forever be grateful for his service. While I hope I don't need his services in the future, he will always be my first and only call. He ensured that my child's safety was number one and our outcome was exactly what I was hoping for!
