When I was looking for an attorney for my divorce I was recommended by another attorney to use Mark. That was back in 2012 and the became more of a family than just an attorney. He fought battles that I was even unsure would be worth it. He was always positive and was honest about anything I wanted t...o add or say. I went through a nasty divorce that lasted 4 years and having him to stand up in court was the best decision I made. I then later went back and used him again to help with child support and he was amazing. He is an attorney you can talk to about anything even payment arrangements. I would continue to recommend him for everything and know that I will continue to use him for anything that requires a lawyer!

Best person to represent you ever!!! I was so pleased with his work and as money got tight he gave me other attorneys through the firm and they were absolutely amazing they were on top of everything and very caring about how you felt explained things you didn’t understand always did what was in the b...est interest I’ve used mark and his attorneys for the last year and half and I wouldn’t of wanted a different attorney to represent me, they got the job done and respond quickly, they got what I wanted done they respected my wishes and were always so kind when I called or showed up he is very informative definitely would recommend to anyone who needs a great lawyer!!! 10/10

Mark was informative and helpful throughout the process. He always returned my calls and emails promptly. He made sure things were done correctly and efficiently and did not waste my time or overcharge me. He knows how to get to the heart of the matter. I also felt he treated my ex with respect. ... His staff was kind and professional, especially Rosalind his paralegal that was involved. Mark has a toughness and expertise combined with empathy that make me want to tell you that he is an excellent choice to represent you.

Mark Hodgson processed my case. Eventually, I realized that Mark had only a layman's understanding of the case, the WA State RCW's or any case law pertaining to it. During the hearing Mark was tactfully informed by the Commissioner that he was arguing for relief that was clearly disallowed per the ...information provided the court and specific RCW laws. Mark was shocked! The commissioner asked Mark, if his client would be willing to adjust the petition to qualify for a different judgment. Of course, Mark answered in the affirmative. At this point, Mark was unable to produce the documentation to augment the correct order that was awarded by the commissioner (I had just handed this to him, prior to entering court). The commissioner issued the order regardless. Oh yes, there was also one other incredibly and infuriating transgression by Mr. Hodgson. Unbelievably, two days before our first hearing date, Mark Hodgson had previously struck the case without my permission, prematurely in error, thereby requiring me to delay for another hearing. Finally, Mark not only stumble-bumbled this case, but I had to hire another attorney to correctly finish the paper work created by his staff that was required before I could qualify for the judgement ordered by the commissioner. This warning is not submitted in anger. These claims are all verifiable from the transcripts of this hearing that I have on file. My desire is to inform any other potential clients of this office of the incompetence of Mark Hodgson.

Mark Hodgson is incredible. I came to him at a huge deficit, already losing badly, he assessed, did damage control, got me back to zero and then put me in a winning position. I literally got everything I wanted, low and short spousal support, amazing custody especially for a state that heavily favors... the moms. Mark doesn’t play games, over charge or b.s. he is attentive, skilled in and out of the courtroom, not intimidated by other lawyers, he did things that I did not even think would be possible. By the end, opposing party was defeated and they knew it. Things wrapped up sooner than expected. His staff, co workers, and office crew is all top notch. In my reviews I always try to highlight the good and the bad, however there was no bad to be found with Mark.
