I chose MDH to represent my case without knowing or understanding much of how family law works. After a long year and a half of several court hearings that led to trial, and learning along the way the complex process of litigation, I realize that I got very lucky when I picked MDH, and I am incredib...ly grateful that Mark was the one guiding me step by step through a tremendously stressful time. Mark is highly intuitive, professional, pays close attention to details, very responsive to calls and emails, and was extremely invested in everything he did for my case. He is honest and caring, with a high level of integrity, and was committed to doing all the things necessary within his reach to protect both me and my kids, from a very unhealthy situation. Post trial, my case continues to go back to court for additional hearings, and sadly looks like there is still a long road ahead. Mark Hodgson is incredible. I came to him at a huge deficit, already losing badly, he assessed, did damage control, got me back to zero and then put me in a winning position. I literally got everything I wanted, low and short spousal support, amazing custody especially for a state that heavily favors... the moms. Mark doesn’t play games, over charge or b.s. he is attentive, skilled in and out of the courtroom, not intimidated by other lawyers, he did things that I did not even think would be possible. By the end, opposing party was defeated and they knew it. Things wrapped up sooner than expected. His staff, co workers, and office crew is all top notch. In my reviews I always try to highlight the good and the bad, however there was no bad to be found with Mark.

I was facing criminal charges to say the least would have destroyed my life. I was accused of a crime that faced heavy penalties and prison time and I also was taking on a child custody battle. I called the office a little scared not knowing what to do.
