My experience with Mr. Nick Wood was excellent. I was impressed with his out of the box thinking; his hard work and confidence. Nick was very quick to get up to speed on my case, and immediately addressed outstanding issues on the case. He approached my legal issues with care and aggressiveness. Mr. Wood has a no nonsense approach to the law. He was clear in his communication and always kept me updated as to the risks verses benefits of approaches to my legal concerns. Was always available to respond to my calls or e-mails during what can be a very stressful time. Nick is a very sharp, thorough, proactive and an ethical attorney. His law firm’s rates are very reasonable and fair with top notch services. I give him my highest recommendation without reservation.

Nick Wood is an outstanding attorney who has helped me on various legal matters from simple traffic court matters to complex family law issues. Whatever the issue, Nick knows the law, and more importantly, he knows how to apply it and argue it to the best advantage of his clients. As an attorney myself, I understand the importance of choosing the right lawyer to defend yourself when confronted with difficult legal matters. Nicks worked tirelessly on my behalf and I owe him a great debt of thanks for consistently and successfully resolving my issues. I would recommend all of my friends and my family to Nick. Nick is also honest to a fault which is a rare trait these days. Thank you Nick. Tim

Mr wood represented me in my child custody case. We agreed on a flat fee and he went above and beyond what was required. Very happy with his work.

Nicholas charged me a flat rate fee to take care of my divorce and try to get more time with my son he dropped my case a week before my hearing. Non expectedly dropped my case on the 4th of July weekend it was nearly impossible to find another representation. Also very sneaky and the way he works contracts. I would say don't trust this man nor the law firm will promise you the world and won't deliver.

I hired Nick last year for my ugly separation case and I'm so lucky that I hired him because he changed the table and prepare my case in first hearing that judge awarded me the kids and after that he filed motions and communicate with other side of attorney and make his way .
One thing I found about him that he is not giving you false hope and he will tell you on your face and some time he will hard but this is all good for my case. I rather Nick hardliner attorney then soft and sugar coating attorney . He have Good heart and he understood my suffering and stress going on , he also treat you as a human and understand his client feelings but he also explain the laws that cannot be attached to your feelings. He is a highly ethical and professional person.
I will recommend everyone if you are going divorce you need attorney like Nick who can fight and understand rather then attorney make you happy and sugar coating. You don't need sugar coating, you need realistic attorney who can fight for you I learned it hard way .

Choosing a professional -- doctor, dentist, attorney -- is hit-and-miss. You don't want to test-drive, you can only go on recommendations from family or friends. Then when you find one you can work with, one you can trust, you stick with them. Nick is that guy. I'm working through a divorce, and I depend on him for advice and action.
Nick has long experience in Vancouver, he knows the local courts and the actors involved. My case has new wrinkles for him, but he pulls on his experience in family law for workable approaches. He willingly discusses possible issues and solutions, both for litigation and mediation. He doesn't go on his "best recollection" -- but always does the research to answer my queries. On the other hand, Nick makes it clear what tasks I need to do in order to streamline the legal process and increase chances for success. He's busy, but I've found he's always accessible within a day or two, and he responds within a day to my questions. All of these things put together, I'm confident I have the best advocate on my team.
I'll most definitely team up with Nick again for legal help.

I went through a high conflict divorce, and had hired Nick because he came highly recommended by a family member. Nick was the perfect fit for my case: straight shooter, hard working, assertive, and professional. I have referred him to my friends and colleagues at work, and will continue to keep him as my legal expert.

My best friend, a former veteran, got a DUI. He was going through hard times so I paid for his Legal Representation (Mr. Wood). Unfortunately, my friend passed away a couple weeks after I contracted and paid Mr. Wood. My question is, am I entitled to a full refund? Or partial? Well I am working with Mr. Wood right now with hopes he will take a full refund into consideration. I will complete my review and update the rating of my experiences with Mr. Wood once we "close the file" on this and he come's to a decision. The decision is in his hands.

I originally met Nicholas Wood when he was defending my son in a domestic abuse case. He kept in touch with him, and was very effective in the courtroom. I have now contacted Nicholas concerning another issue, and he took time out of his busy day to provide information on the questions I had. He is a caring, concerned professional and I appreciate his willingness to assist.

Nick has been amazing. He is very knowledgeable when it comes to the laws. He keeps me informed and up to date with everything that is going on. Even though our case was hit with a few hard balls he handle it in a very professional manor. if you want a family litigation/Defense attorney that will have your back and fight for what is right and fair I would recommend Nicholas. He is doing and has done an awesome job! He is honest and straight forward.
