Biography
Paul B. Apple is an experienced and highly effective attorney, skilled in handling personal injury and wrongful death claims at trial. His accomplishments include being the current Secretary/Treaser for the Legal Assistance to Military Personnel Section of the WSBA, being selected as a member of the Million Dollar Advocates Forum, which is limited to Trial Lawyers who have demonstrated exceptional skill, experience and excellence in advocacy by achieving a trial verdict, award or settlement in the amount of One Million Dollars or more, winning an appeal in the Court of Appeals and Supreme Court, and serving a number of times as an arbitrator for Pierce County and King County Superior Court Cases. Mr. Apple has successfully represented numerous clients on cases involving, wrongful death, serious personal injury, premise liability, and general aviation sample of cases handled by Mr. Apple includes:
-Serving as lead counsel in wrongful death case of Lee et.al., v. WA Dept. of Corrections(2011) filed in Superior Court King County Washington resulting in $1.1 million dollar settlement for clients.
-Serving as lead appellate counsel drafted and orally argued prevailing brief published in the case of Kim v. Pham, 95 Wn.App. 439, 975 P.2d 544 (Div. 1 1999), (review denied) 139 Wn.2d 1009, 994 P.2d 844 (1999).
-Serving as lead counsel in general aviation accident case of No v. Schweizer Aircraft Corp. et al. (2004) filed in Superior Court King County Washington resulting in settlement of over one half of a million dollars.
Mr. Apple is originally from Waukegan, Illinois and has lived in Seattle since 1992. He graduated from Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois with a Bachelor of Science degree in Speech. He is a graduate of Western Michigan University Cooley Law School, graduating 43 of 136 in his class. Mr. Apple also served in the United States Army Reserve as a commissioned officer in the Judge Advocate General Corps as Trial Counsel and Defense Counsel at Courts Martial. He is also a veteran of the Iraq War, serving in Operation Iraqi Freedom and also Operation Enduring Freedom. Outside of the office Mr. Apple skis, hikes, snow shoes, climbs, bicycles, and enjoys camping. He is proud to have climbed Mt. Rainier and slept on the summit. Estate Settlement
My sister and I went to see Paul for advice on how to settle my mom's estate. He made time for us at the last minute because I had to leave town to return home the next morning. He gave us great advice and guidance on how to proceed with settlement of her estate.

Quick return phone call
