I worked with Mr. Moffitt and his paralegal Mrs. Rogers. They are both amazing, I had a very complex family law case that involved multiple states and an opposing attorney that didn’t mind bending the law. Multiple attorneys had actually turned my case away because it had been so complicated. He hand...led every curveball the opposing attorney threw our way. He also won us a substantial judgment against the other party for their bad faith tactics. Mr. Moffitt handled my case with extreme professionalism and integrity! I cannot put into words how incredible Jonathan Moffitt and Dian were. We were on our third modification attempt in five years by my fiancé’s ex and ready to put this all to an end. Without going into detail, we had an extremely difficult fight ahead of us, and knew we’d need help. Jonathan was incre...dibly knowledgeable, communicative and direct. While alienation is incredibly difficult to convince courts of at this moment, Jonathan was able to show the court proof of this multiple times during the lead up to our trial with the court repeatedly finding her in contempt. He was honest when he thought we should go a different direction, but understanding and supportive of which route we decided to take. Watching him in court never failed to be incredibly impressive. Dian was always on top of everything every step of the way and incredibly easy to get in contact with. In the end, we didn’t even have to go to trial, as court hearings had gone favorably so many times that an agreement was reached at the settlement conference to equal, joint custody. We truly feel like we can put this all behind us now. Jonathan ended the stress our family had been under for years, and gave us a chance to start healing as a whole and move forward. He is an extraordinary attorney who we can only hope knows the gratitude we have for him and the impact he had on us. You couldn’t ask for a more phenomenal attorney.

I'm not sure where to start with Mr. Moffitt. I came to Mr. Moffitt's office nearly 4 years ago when a close friend paid for my first visit to receive advice about my separation from my (now) ex-husband. I was a lost woman who had the life sucked out of her from a very degrading marriage. Mr. Moffitt... showed me compassion, empathy, gave me a reality check of my situation, and somehow ignited a bit of confidence in me to advocate for my children and myself. A couple of months after the first visit, I retained Mr. Moffitt to represent me. My divorce was long and drawn out due to a very narcissistic individual (I do not use that term lightly). Mr. Moffitt has always remained a voice of reason, an advocate for children, a fighter when needed, and communicates effectively in and out of court. During the years, we have overcome my messy divorce; an event that led to obtaining (and maintaining) a DVPO; modifications; and numerous frivolous motions against me all of which we successfully countered and were granted reimbursement. I hired Jonathan Moffitt to represent me in a complicated divorce case after having a very poor experience with another attorney. My previous attorney didn't keep me informed and basically just filed paperwork and took my money. Considering the complexity of my case, I needed someone who was driven..., communicated well and wasn't afraid to deal with ambiguity. I found Jonathan and Thank God I did! The divorce started in a foreign country in Africa where the laws are very different. I have 2 younger children, so custody issues had to be considered across both systems. Also, some of the financials and assets had already been split overseas while the rest needed to be considered in the US. And to top it off, the other party refused to be amicable about anything which added more stress to an already crazy situation. Jonathan dug right in and worked with my lawyer from overseas to understand the nuances of the cases there and how they translated to US laws. He provided good advice and support along the way and was open to hearing my ideas. He negotiated for my best interests at every turn and presented the facts and evidence in a strong and confident manner. I very highly recommend Jonathan if you're looking for someone to stand up and fight for you. His assistant, Dian was also amazing as she was quick to answer questions, process documentation and provide updates when Jonathan was busy.

Jonathan Moffitt was excellent representing me during my divorce. Jonathan did an excellent job preparing me for what was "typical" in Washington state and fought hard for me to get a fair and reasonable judgment. We tried everything to settle with the other party including mediation and when the oth...er party just wouldn't be rational he didn't hesitate to be aggressive to get a fair deal. Rarely is anyone ever completely happy with the outcome of a divorce, but I feel the decision that the judge made after our divorce trial was fair, reasonable, and largely due to Jonathan's preparation, precision, and ability to stick to facts and not bring unnecessary emotion into the proceedings.
