My particular scenario was far from the standard; Having to deal with an out of state DUI from over 7 years ago that I thought was in the past since I satisfied the court all those years ago. Now suddenly, the DOL wants to revoke my license for 2 years based this past transgression? My situation falls into a "grey" area and many won't even touch a case like this, a case that is NOT cut and dry (cookie cutter). Hiring Melissa Sullivan from Sullivan Law Group was the best decision I made for my legal representation for a DUI. My journey began on October 31st, 2020 when I made a terrible choice to drive my car to go get food while intoxicated. I was pulled over entering my apartment complex as I parked at my assigned spot. I knew what happened. I knew I was wrong. I cooperated with the officer. I ended up blowing 3x the legal limit of .08. I sat in jail for 20 hours. Shortly thereafter, I searched for a DUI attorney. Melissa was the first I contacted. I felt immediate ease after explaining what happened. I felt comfortable listening to her. Then, I consulted with a second attorney who did not quite put me at ease. I decided Melissa was the clear choice. Right away, Melissa guided me on the right track. She advised me in great detail on what exactly I needed to do. I followed up immediately. I attended and completed the classes along with the required assessment.
