When I first talked to Melissa over the phone I knew she was the one I wanted with me on this case. She was eager to help and confident she could resolve my situation. It was after a long talk on the phone I figured out I was interrupting Melissa while she was on vacation! I couldn't believe she woul...d take the time out of her vacation to cater to my needs. That goes to show how real and genuine she is. I was arrested at the Canadian border (heading into Washington) when the random search of my vehicle revealed forms of MDMA. The unfortunate part of my arrest being that these drugs did not belong to me, nor did I know they were in my vehicle! It was the passenger I was traveling with who had them hidden in her purse. In ONE of the four police reports it clearly stated that the substances were indeed found in a MK purse which also contained a female's license and other belongings. I am a male who does not own such a purse. Melissa was able to use this along with other relevant facts to make a deal with the judge and get me the best outcome possible. I was offered not one- but two best outcomes; one being the possession of a controlled substance/poison charge being backed down to a misdemeanor charge of disorderly conduct in the 2nd degree, and two being a years worth of a clean record in return for a complete dismissal of the case. I was eager to close the case and move on, so on my court date I chose option one. Imagine my surprise when I see Melissa talking with an officer at my arraignment when she gives me the good news of the judge deciding to dismiss the charge all together and then write a new citation for disorderly conduct as if I had never been cited in the first place! I was thrilled considering the situation. Through this three month endure I was able to relax knowing that Melissa was hard at work to make this possible. The same day after I hired her she told me "now all you have to do is relax and show up in a couple months". The relief I felt was unimaginable. Not only did she keep me updated every step along the way, she was able to give me great life advice as the repercussions of this case took a toll on my life.
