I first went to Sullivan Law Group PLLC over 5 years ago, after going through a particularly difficult time and getting multiple DUI related infractions within a week timespan. Her business partner and husband, Brian Sullivan, assisted me with those cases in a prompt, and capable manner. He managed t...o help combine the cases and set up a deferred prosecution, which not only put the charges on a relative "hold" but also helped to turn my life around- all while being understanding of my emotional and financial situation. Five years later I mistakenly misunderstood the terms of the deferred prosecution by committing a traffic infraction that violated the terms and put the entire deal at risk. Due to this misunderstanding, I had also managed to get a warrant out for me. I called their law firm in a panic after receiving information about the potential consequences of my violation and they quickly called back and set up a meeting. From there, Melissa took charge of the case and discussed all the possible outcomes with me in a realistic yet optimistic manner. My original lawyer, Brian, came out of his way and into our meeting to say hello and assure me I was in good hands. A very personal and appreciated touch. Melissa advised me of all documents to gather and kept me updated on what her steps, hopes, and needs as my lawyer were. Within two weeks we had a court date to get warrants quashed, as that was the most pressing issue, but thanks in large to her preparation all cases and problems were settled and my deferred prosecution was ended on good terms with no further legal repercussions. I have recommended family members to this law firm, and will absolutely call on them again if anything ever occurs. Melissa was kind, gracious, and understanding while still practical and very hard working. She was also more than happy to talk through the "legalease" and explain what was going on when she could tell I was panicked by the unknown potentials. Boy am I glad I accidentally found Melissa! Not only did she contact me on a Sunday when I filled out an inquiry online about my DUI but, she came to my initial hearing in MV and met with me beforehand to see if i wanted her to represent me! For free! (Free consultation which i found is not all that ...common). She gave me all the info I needed and everyone knew her so, naturally I had to hire her. She offered a payment plan after half of the money down which I also appreciated. TOTALLY worth the loan I took out to hire her. She works round the clock, uses email, text, and phone to communicate, answers any and all questions I had and gave advice to the best of her knowledge without making a decision for me. Never left me out of the loop and let me know I could contact her anytime. I had 2 prior duis that were dropped 10yrs ago and she managed to get the min fine, min community service (2 days) in leiu of jail time, found defaults with the breathalyzer, issues in the police procedures and argued her way out of the breath test being relevant evidence (it was thrown out)! I did have to get an eval, go to treatment, and a victims panel but, its mandatory. She is so fantastic that she also argued with the DOL and won my hearing! I don't have to lose my license, go to jail, get SR-22 insurance or have an interlock ever again! I seriously found the best, hardest working, nicest, most understanding lawyer ever and I am so thankful I hired her. I wish she could fix all my problems but, she can't LOL! I am definitely recommending her and anyone at her office as they were all helping with my case in some way. If I could give 10 stars I totally would! Finding a lawyer you can trust is hard. Especially when they're expensive. However, this one, hands down your dream lawyer.

I can't say enough great things about Ms. Sullivan. I'm admittedly skeptical about attorneys, and really the legal system, but she was extraordinary. I was the victim of an erroneous arrest for Domestic Violence and later a frivolous protection order. But with the DA and the courts, one can never und...erestimate how things can go terribly wrong. I was impressed with how professional, yet thoughtful and courteous Ms. Sullivan was. She's a fighter and assertive, but she was never arrogant or impolite to me. She listened to me intently, took copious notes, and gathered the facts, and then cut to the chase, formed a plan of action, and thoughtfully brought me up to speed with the process and what I needed to know. Although she has many clients and court cases, she kept me in the loop and informed. She thoroughly prepared for the protection order hearing; my order was dismissed. Later, my DV case was declined with no charges brought forward by the DA, even though my case was reviewed by one DA and passed on to a stricter DA--all because Ms. Sullivan worked strategically with them and wasn't overly aggressive nor passive about my case. Her office staff was exceptional, cordial, and very supportive, too. I would definitely recommend that you hire her, you won't regret it!
