I was referred to David quite a few years ago when needing legal assistance. While the area of focus wasn't exactly what he specialized in, I felt confident in his abilities after setting up an initial meeting.
Since that first meeting, I have used David's intelligence and expertise on numerous occasions. He has not only a superior sense of professionalism but also a knack for having just the right amount of empathy as well. David isn't someone that you have to check in on and follow up with. He is very proactive about making sure his clients have the information they need in a timely manner and surpasses expectations when it comes to simply checking in on those issues that can take months/years. When compared to other attorney's I have worked with, David is one who really loves what he does and it shows through how hard he works for his clients no matter how big or small the matter.
Dealing with any legal issues is obviously not a fun thing for anyone no matter what side you are on and David makes the process as smooth as possible and really works hard for his clients. I would HIGHLY recommend him to anyone needing legal services.

David Crowe, a partner of Van Kampen, Paine & Crowe, represented my small LLC in a trademark dispute initiated by a much larger online retailer/auction business and successfully refuted their trademark infringement claim. His availability during this matter was excellent; his responses to my emails and phone calls were prompt and answers to my questions were informed. His correspondence with legal representatives of the opposing business was prompt and effectual yet diplomatic. I recommend David unequivocally for all intellectual property and commercial litigation issues.
Sarah Heineman, Education Attorney
Relationship: Fellow lawyer in community
David is a smart, thoughtful, pragmatic advocate for his clients. He excels at condensing a case down to its key issues and making those understandable, whether his audience is the court, a mediator, or another entity. I highly recommend him.
Robb D'Ambruoso, Estate planning Attorney
Relationship: Worked together on matter
David is a long-time colleague of mine. He manages to vigorously advocate on behalf of his clients while maintaining complete professionalism and integrity. Most importantly, though, David always manages to see the forest for the trees, and brings a practical, results-oriented approach to his work. Coupled with an excellent bedside manner, I highly recommend him to potential clients seeking a top-notch litigator who can understand their business needs.
