Mr. Burpee helped my Husband and I with a very confusing legal situation. He was very patient with us while explaining everything we needed to know and the best course of action to take. He clearly had our best interest in mind, regardless of whether it benefited him or not. If we ever have a similar issue in the future, we will absolutely be seeking his counsel.

I was at a loss when I was served papers by a debt buyer claiming I had opened a credit account and wasn't paying on it. I felt extremely embarrassed and taken advantage of as this claim was severely affecting my credit. Finding Patrick was the best thing I could have done for myself. He took the time to listen to everything I said, asked questions without judgement, and created a case for me against this debt buyer that I was deathly afraid I didn't have a chance at winning. Not only did he get the case dismissed but I was awarded attorney's fees, something I really didn't believe we had a chance with and is what I believe to be quite rare. More important then the money, this fixed my credit score. I would absolutely work with Patrick again and solidly recommend him.

My wife and I wanted to tell you how much we appreciate the work you've done, and even more so in how genuine and transparent you have been throughout the process. At the beginning my wife was pretty freaked out about being whacked with a six thousand-plus dollar bill in the event we had no defense, but conversely freaked out about what would happen if we elected to seek representation...we've never done that before and I think we both always thought that was something only rich people could do. So we kind of felt stuck between a rock and a hard place. I am certain that she took what she felt was a huge risk in trusting me to determine whether or not to, and if so who, we should hire for representation, and we are really happy with who we picked to do it. So in a nutshell, we really appreciate you also caring about our side of this when its all said and done. Just wanted to share that with you.

Relationship: Worked together on matter
I endorse this lawyer's work. I first met Patrick Burpee in 1999 when we were both working for a large downtown law firm. In 2003, Patrick saw the light and went out on his own to practice. Eventually, I too saw the light and started my own practice in 2011. Since then, Patrick and I have joined forces to successfully defend our clients’ business interests. Patrick has a keen attention to detail which accelerates his ability to find the best leverage for settlement negotiations. When he can’t resolve a matter through negotiations, his trial skills serve him well. I highly recommend Patrick Burpee’s legal services.
