Don C. King

It’s impossible for me to give you all the full story of what my command did to me out to sea in only 4,000 characters so I’ll just leave you with the ending because that’s all that matters. The outcome after hiring Don King. Once we got back to port I contacted don after I found his number on google... as a last resort. I was desperate and hopeless. I sent a pdf file of all of the medical evidence as well as documented evidence I gathered over the previous months via email to Don. Shortly after we met face to face in mid December right before I went on holiday leave. I paid him his retainer fee & 2.5 months later I was honorably discharged from the Navy with a dd-214 in hand. Throughout the entire process of don representing me he always reached out to check on me. And he made it clear to my entire chain of command that if there was any retaliation for me hiring an attorney that there would be swift & severe consequences. If anyone is being abused by their chain of command I highly suggest you start documenting absolutely everything that happens to you & contact don king. Once you give him the evidence of what has been happening to you, he will get you what you need every single time.

Someone in my command lied and accused me of sexual assault and the base lawyers didn't seem to experieinced. I called around for civilian lawyers to help but they wanted a lot of money and didn't even seem to want to speak to me without me payng them. Then a fellow Staff NCO told me about Mr. King. ...Mr. King was the judge on a case where that Gunny was the bailif and he said he would be his first call. Mr. King also charged me way less than what others were saying and I hired him immediately. He TORE into my case like I was his own son. I would not want to be against this man! But he also helped me with my command, even calling them and getting them to support me! In the end, although I was facing prison and being a registered sex offender (which means no time aroung my kids), i actually wasn't even charged with a crime. I know that was because of Mr. King, who did his own investigation of the case and found stuff that NCIS ignored. I owe my life to this former grunt! If I or a loved one ever needs a lawyer, we'll call Mr. King. He's been around this block many many times and knows everything AND he cares, not just about me, but my family as well. He helped them understand what was happening and that meant alot to us. Nice to see a guy not in it just for the money... I would give him 10 stars if I could. he deserves it.

I worked as then Lieutenant Don King’s paralegal while we were stationed in Guam. Don had been assigned as defense counsel to a Sailor charged with murdering a fellow Sailor. He worked tirelessly on this case and truly believed in his client and had so much compassion for this Sailor. This Sailor ...was acquitted of all charges. Let me say that I have worked for many attorneys in my nearly 30 years as a paralegal and there have been none that even come close to Don’s professionalism, drive and determination.
