Don C. King

Don C. King, founder of King Military Law, boasts nearly thirty years of military experience, with twenty-four years dedicated to military law. His journey began as an enlisted Marine, where he served in security roles at U.S. Embassies and supported high-level officials as part of Secret Service protective details. Upon completion of his service, he leveraged the GI Bill to earn his degrees in Oregon. In 1996, Don returned as a Navy Judge Advocate, where he quickly established himself as an accomplished trial attorney, securing an acquittal in a murder case shortly after starting his military legal career.

Over the years, Don has held significant positions that encompass military criminal law, including leadership roles as both a senior prosecutor and defense counsel. His influence extends to training fellow attorneys in the Navy’s Defense Counsel Assistance Program. Renowned for his dedication and legal skills, Don remains active in his community, volunteering for veteran support programs and serving as a judge in mock trial competitions. Now retired, he offers his extensive legal counsel to those in need, continuing to make a positive impact through his work.
