10/10 Experience

I would absolutely recommend Mr. Kings representation to anyone being accused of a crime in the Military. His experience is second to none and his knowledge of the military legal process is very impressive. Personally, my command was not on my side through any steps of the process but KML had my back... every second and created an incredible defense package for me that impressed my command because of how detailed it was. He was able to uncover information that the command never even knew existed. The professionalism at KML is incredible and I will absolutely hire this legal team again to help me in the future.

Thank you for your review, "Anonymous." I recognize who you are, and I appreciate that you chose our firm to represent you during this stressful process. The entire KML team is pleased to see that you won—you absolutely deserved that victory. It is unacceptable when commands forget that loyalty must flow both ways and that allegations are not truth. It's disappointing to witness commands overlook this fundamental principle. All too often, commands or investigative agencies such as NCIS, CID, AFOSI, or CGIS gather only enough information to support a presumption of guilt, which ultimately influences their decision to charge you. At KML, we don't let this happen. From the start, we conduct our own investigation and collect evidence that SUPPORTS our clients. We then may present this compelling information to the prosecution or command before they make a decision, ensuring they have the complete picture—not just the narrow view provided by NCIS. This approach can, and does, make a significant difference for our client, as it did for you. We are thrilled to see you back on track! Wishing you continued success in your career, and I encourage you to stay in touch! Best, Don and the KML Team

Don King will do everything in his power to win your case

I had the privilege of working with Attorney Don King, a dedicated and highly skilled civilian attorney, who represents servicemembers during challenging legal situations. From the outset, he demonstrated exceptional professionalism, deep knowledge of military law, and a strong due diligence to his ...client. Attorney King took the time to thoroughly understand the facts of the case, explain every step of the legal process, and ensure client is fully prepared for his legal proceedings. What stood out most was his strategic thinking and calm demeanor under pressure. He was meticulous in preparing for hearings and showed genuine care for the outcome and its impact on my military career. Thanks to his advocacy and expertise, the result was far better than the client expected. Military legal matters are complex and often high-stakes. Having someone like Attorney Don King in your corner makes all the difference. I would highly recommend him to any service member in need of legal representation or counsel within the military justice system.

Thanks so much for the review, Jamila, and back at you! I've worked with many translators in my years in the courtroom, and you were, by far, the best. Your professionalism and attention to the client played a huge role in the success he achieved at trial, and I couldn't imagine having done all of that without you. Again, thanks for the kind words, and all of us at KML look forward to working with you again! Don

Amazing legal representation

Highly recommend 10/10 I am very grateful to have found out about King military Law. Mr King is very knowledgeable about military law & approaches things very strategic. His representation was well worth it. I initially called a little over a year ago and was very confused about what would happen ...with my case and how I’d get through everything. Unfortunately, I was referred to a special court martial and I was like super stressed out. There was a lot of things that would be used against me, including a video. While preparing for trail, they kept me informed and knowledgeable about every possible outcome and what my options were. Ms kasheta is very caring and provided a sense of safety that I didn’t always get from others around me. I appreciate the times she was stern because that’s what kept me out of more trouble while everything was still going on. She gave amazing advice & guidance even when I was only overthinking & my anxiety kicked in. My case was sort of sensitive and to my surprise they were not judgmental and treated personal topics with respect. During trail, Mr King provided impeccable defense. Even with the video being part of evidence, he was able to mitigate the impact it would have. Ultimately, I received no jail time, did not get a bad conduct discharge and can leave the Army honorably. They also took the time to provide encouragement about things I wanted to accomplish in the future that I thought I had no chance at. Not only are they the best defense team, but the support received will have a life long impact.

Thanks for the feedback, Rubin! It was great getting to know you and your family and assisting you with your military legal matter. All of us at KML understand how foreign and confusing military law can be and work hard to make sure clients and their family members can reach us to get all of their questions answered. I'm so glad that our team met your expectations in that area! Best of luck to you in your future and please stay in touch! Don

Professional, Knowlegeable, Responsive! He cares about your case!

I am an officer who was facing an allegation of assault after a self-defense incident occurred in my hometown during a road rage altercation. A crazed woman approached my vehicle with my children in the car, spit at me when my window was down, and I repelled her advance with OC ("pepper") spray. The... county did not press charges, but the Navy became aware of the incident and decided to continue with NJP. Throughout the process, Don's guidance was a source of immense relief and reassurance. He helped me navigate the options of either taking this to potential court-martial or accepting NJP and vowed to advise me in whichever route I took. I ended up electing to accept NJP and focused on moving on from the military and readying myself and our family for the next chapter in life since I was approaching one year until I could retire. Don, whom I deeply respected and trusted, was right there at every step to provide advice and guidance on how to navigate NJP, and he helped me craft statements that followed the report of NJP, the adverse FITREP, the response statement to my LOR, etc. Eventually, my case was recommended for a no-show cause (no board of inquiry) by my ISIC, first flag, and finally PERS. I am deeply grateful for the help and guidance that Don provided me along the way, which I believe was instrumental in this outcome. I highly recommend Don and his team for representation if you're facing a legal case within the military's legal system. While DSO provided me with some advice, it was Don's personalized guidance that truly made a difference. Unlike the junior JAGs who rely on scripts and Google, Don's experience and expertise shine through in his advice and representation, making it a valuable investment in your case.

Thanks, Chris. All of us here at KML sure appreciate you trusting us and also for taking the time to tell others your story. It was an honor walking you and your family through this and I'm glad the Navy agreed to forego any additional administrative measures, even though that's often an "automatic" step for senior officers. We pride ourselves on being "unconventionally aggressive" and pursuing options that other firms might find a waste of time. Your case is a good example of why we do that. However, I'm sure the main reason the Navy "did the right thing" is your stellar record of dedication and service, coupled with the circumstances of the case that you describe above. While I'm excited for the future you have, I'm disappointed that these circumstances cost the Navy a man of your skill, experience, and character. Definitely the Navy's loss. Best of luck to you as you start the next chapter, Chris! Thanks again for trusting us and for the review, and please stay in touch.
