I am an officer who was facing an allegation of assault after a self-defense incident occurred in my hometown during a road rage altercation. A crazed woman approached my vehicle with my children in the car, spit at me when my window was down, and I repelled her advance with OC ("pepper") spray. The... county did not press charges, but the Navy became aware of the incident and decided to continue with NJP. Throughout the process, Don's guidance was a source of immense relief and reassurance.
