Outstanding service and support

Scott Blankenship and the team at The Blankenship Law Firm provided me with excellent service and support in quickly and favorably resolving an employment dispute. I am very grateful that I had Scott fighting by my side. Scott was there to answer any questions along the way. He was very sympathet...ic and empathetic, and was a bright light throughout the entire process. From start to finish, he was approachable, and made me feel comfortable and well-informed about all of the important decisions that came up along the way. Scott invested the time to understand what goals could be attained, and worked with me like a partner to make sure that we reached them. I felt like he was personally invested in making sure that I got the best result, which took an enormous amount stress off of my shoulders knowing that I had a trusted advisor like him as my lawyer. I would not hesitate to recommend Scott Blankenship and his team to my friends and family.

Here I have found the difference between good lawyers and GREAT lawyers.

I was extremely selective in choosing representation because of the considerably large size and scope of my case and the numerous individuals who it benefits. A lot of good firms expressed a high degree of interest in my case, but I wanted the best. I sought out The Blankenship Law Firm and whe...n I first met Scott and his dedicated team I was immediately impressed by how they took ownership of my problem and gave me confidence by laying out how they will do everything possible to help my case succeed. Scott and his team are highly motivated, often working into the night on my case and taking extreme ownership of it. Additionally on motivation, the firm doesn’t just respond when I call them; they make my phone ring. Good lawyers try to deliver, but great lawyers DELIVER: Scott and his team consistently do what they say they will and get it executed by when they tell me they will. I have found the team devotion to excellence, brilliant knowledge of the law and providing access to justice to be First Class every step of the way. I cannot give a strong enough recommendation here. They have definitely earned every one of the 5 Stars I am giving.

Very satisfied

From the day I called and met the Blankenship Law Firm they have treated me like family and I got the results as they had promised me. They communicate well and called me often to check on me listen to my cries I couldn't of asked for a better God sent family.

Outstanding attorney

I am writing this review of attorney Scott Blankenship to share the details of my experience with him to help others who are seeking legal representation. I recently needed his assistance again and the experience caused me to reflect on the quality of service that he provides and the quality person t...hat he is. Previously, I hired Scott as my attorney to represent me with an employment matter. This was the first time that I ever needed to hire an attorney. The process that I went through to find the right representation was not easy. When in distress, many of us are emotional and we want help immediately. When finding help is a challenge it only exasperates how one feels. I contacted four different legal firms, one of which was The Blankenship Law Firm. Two firms did not return my call after I provided their assistants with the details of my dispute; this was very discouraging. I met with another attorney at their office who showed little interest or empathy for my situation, but they gladly had me pay their fee at the end of our one hour meeting. My experience with the fourth firm that I contacted, The Blankenship Law Firm, was different. I left the same message with Scott Blankenship's assistant that I had left at the other three firms. I was told that Scott wasn't available but a time was scheduled when we could talk. After Scott and I talked by phone we scheduled a time to meet at his office. We discussed my situation in detail. I was impressed with how well he listened, how he engaged me and the questions that he asked. He felt strongly that I had a case that we could go forward with. We discussed his fee structure which I thought was fair and in-line with industry practices. I now had my attorney. Even though there was considerable time and work ahead of us to reach the finish line, knowing that I had someone of Scott's caliber assisting me and handling the strategy was a tremendous relief. Throughout my case I saw several things in Scott that reminded me that I had made the right decision. He showed that he cared for me and my situation. He was always a straight communicator. He was ethical. He was consistent. He had integrity. He coached me and helped me clearly understand what mattered and what did not, in order for us to possibly prevail. He never made any guarantees on what the outcome would be but he felt strongly that we had a good chance to succeed. There were times when the process was not moving along as fast as I would have liked but that was not because of Scott. He reminded me to remain patient because sometimes our expectations of time, as well as the final results, are not always realistic. Fortunately, we prevailed. I would recommend Scott and his team to anyone who is in need of an employment attorney who is formidable and does the very best he can to get the best possible result for his clients. The traits that I used to describe Scott in the preceding paragraph were always present from the beginning to the end. As I mentioned at the beginning of this review, I recently contacted Scott on another matter because I have total confidence in his abilities. I look forward to working with him again and do so with no hesitation.

Posted by Ramon | July 13, 2016 | Hired Attorney | Wrongful Termination

"With Scott’s Integrity, Work-ethic, and Razor-sharp Advocacy in Court, I Got a Great Result And Helped Me Clear my Name"

When I was abruptly terminated without cause, I knew it was grossly unfair and I had to fight it. But I didn’t know where to begin—my reputation was ruined and most people I approached, both professionally and socially, looked at me with suspicion and disdain. Since I was fired from a large, powerfu...l, popular Catholic healthcare system, colleagues and friends thought that I must have done something terrible to deserve termination. It was an extremely stressful time for my family and me. Thankfully, we eventually met Scott and his team as a referral from a physician colleague. Scott listened to me thoroughly and believed in me. While everyone—family, friends, and enemies alike—wanted me to just let it go and leave town, Scott understood my need to clear my name. This was all I needed. It was a great comfort to be heard, but also very empowering to know that a lawyer of his caliber and experience was willing to stand by a ruined individual like me to fight a big institution. Catholic Health Initiatives/CHI Franciscan Health was brutal and brazen with its retaliation and harassment, but Scott did not back down. He thoughtfully advised me about big and small decisions. He was always available to talk or meet. He was sincerely concerned about the lawsuit’s impact on my family. His staff was immensely supportive, thorough and efficient. I truly felt that I had a team before me and behind me at all times. They sought out my input constantly. It was a solid collaboration. I no longer felt alone. I saw Scott in action in many settings—in legal communications, in depositions, in court, in mediation — and he is razor-sharp and relentless. I was at awe at Scott’s attention to every legal detail. With his staff, we poured over more than 10,000 pages of documents and more than 40 hours of videos. Scott and I worked through several lunch hours and even met with witnesses on several Sundays. His work ethic is exemplary, his devotion to a just cause nothing short of admirable, and his integrity beyond reproach. Much to everyone’s surprise, just over a week before trial was to begin, we won a $2.5 million settlement from Catholic Health Initiatives/CHI Franciscan Health. It was only then that many people looked at me without suspicion and disdain. They began to listen and ask for details. Only then did they believe that a physician could be wrongfully terminated and maliciously framed by a big beloved Catholic institution. This made me appreciate Scott even more, that he trusted me and was willing to defend me when it was too inconvenient and complicated for most. I have no doubt that the successful resolution of my lawsuit was directly due to the great skill and expertise of Scott and his team at The Blankenship Law Firm.

"I had the pleasure to work with Scott as co-counsel in the race discrimination trial of Zhang v. American Gem Seafoods. The jury returned a verdict of $3,100,000.00, which is one of the highest awards ever returned for this type of case. Scott fought for this client serving as appellate and lead counsel all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. He ultimately obtained a final recovery of close to $4,000,000.00. This exceptional outcome is a testament to Scott’s high standards of trial preparation, tenaciousness in court, and skill as an appellate lawyer. I have no hesitation in recommending Scott to any potential client. Peter M. Brown, Dawson-Brown ps"
