Alan was a great asset in our complicated divorce that involved a complex financial settlement, custody issues, and numerous attempts to escalate the situation from the opposing side. He gave me great advice from the initial discussion to the trial, he did a great job at preparation for the trial and...

Alan is an excellent litigator. Responsive, reasonable, knowledgeable and prepared. There are no guarantees in litigation, so many variables. Your best guarantee is a competent lawyer. Mr. Funk is exceptionally competent and is very efficient with his time. He knows his audience well and delivers his...

I hired Alan on pure referral as someone to help me defend a child support modification filed from my former spouse. He asked me for information or details but then interrupt and be dismissive. He would only explain legal jargon with lots of prompting. He showed up late to a trial. We had a 1.5 h...

I want to thank both of you for the work you did for my nephew. My nephew had worked with several attorneys related to his divorce and child custody and the relationship he has had with you has been by far the best fit and the most beneficial. You had the patience and commitment to hang in there w...

Prior to trial Alan was very good with advice. At trial he was excellent with preparation and presentation. The outcome was as good as it possibly could have been. Despite a bad GAL report, the judge did everything I wanted and said the GAL was "biased" against me and the report "unhelpful"
"Alan was an opposing attorney in a case that could have turned horribly and unnecessarily contentious had it been in someone else's hands. He's no pushover. But if you want someone who's a thoughtful, practical problem-solver, someone who'll effectively get you from Point A to Point B, Alan is as good a choice as anyone."
"I endorse this lawyer. Alan is one of the premier family law attorneys in Seattle and a frequent source of expert information on complicated legal issues within the family law community."
"Alan Funk is a meticulous and conscientious lawyer, who combines wisdom with advocacy. A client can trust that he/she is in good hands with Alan."
"Alan is a very professional and effective counselor for his clients. His work is of the highest quality and he strives to streamline and shorten stressful litigation for his clients while still advocating for their goals."
"I look forward to cases where Alan is the opposing counsel as I know he will conduct himself with the utmost professionalism and courtesy. His clients benefit from his knowledge of family law and his dedication to their best interests."
"I have worked with Alan on a court committee and on a case. Alan is a smart and talented advocate who brings thoroughness, dedication, and integrity to his work. I endorse Alan as an attorney."
"Alan is an extremely knowledgeable family law attorney. His clients are very well served. I have also personally enjoyed working in litigation opposite Alan, and have appreciated his level headed attitude and creative problem solving. Alan is quickly becoming a pillar of the family law legal community."
"I endorse this lawyer's work. Alan provides high-quality, competent representation. He brings an outstanding depth and breadth of legal knowledge to his cases. He solidly represents his clients' interests without creating unnecessary or undue conflict."
"It is a pleasure to endorse Alan Funk. Alan is a rising star in Washington State family law. His great intelligence and energy put him on a level higher than most attorneys. Alan is with the Wechsler, Becker firm, the most prestigious firm in Washington State family law, so he is surrounded by attorneys who are the best at what they do. Alan is an expert on computers and the Internet, so he would be a good choice for people who have cases in the Seattle area but live elsewhere, and so need an attorney who can communicate effectively with clients over the Internet. Alan, who seems to have unlimited energy, also teaches other lawyers at Continuing Legal Education seminars. If Alan Funk is your lawyer, you are a lucky client!"
