Leslie Olson and the entire Olson-Olson Legal Team are AMAZING professionals that get results!

In our experience, we found that Leslie lives up to her promises and philosophies 100% of the time. She is also so compassionate and easy to talk to. Actively listens during the initial consultation and then provides a realistic opinion of the case followed by a robust and specific plan of action. ... This is what stood out the most to me due to the fact that this is similarly how I operate when working with my clients. Another thing that made securing Leslie for our legal representation is that fact that she's a straight shooter who clearly communicated to my wife and I how her fees would accrue and to whom certain tasks would be delegated to (Paralegal Assistant) in an attempt to keep our costs as low as possible. Looking back on this unfortunate situation, that my wife and I found ourselves in, it still creates an emotions of sadness and unbelief that it had to come down to litigation to be resolved. We have been married for several years. We both had existing children from prior marriages, so we have what would be described as a "blended family." Over the years, my wife and I have maintained a stable home for us and the children but as the youngest of the children became a teenager, my wife was experiencing some debilitating health challenges. Coupled with the fact that we have an active teenager involved in extra curricular activities, undoubtedly our expenses increased and income decreased which in turn created financial challenges. My wife's former employer happened to be friends with Leslie and upon her learning about our situation, she quickly referred us to Leslie and made the introduction. Me being one who reads Google Reviews before making a purchasing or hiring decision, browsed the Olson-Olson webpage and found this quote that really stood out to me, "Our philosophy is pretty simple: we like serving you well. We like making you happy. We do that by listening carefully to what you tell us. We do it by working hard for you. We do it by applying to your case, the wisdom and skill gained from years in and out of the courtroom." Let me tell you that we found that Olson-Olson thoroughly lives us to their philosophy! Here's a snippet from Leslie's bio, "The story of money reveals the truth and can often tip the balance in questions of credibility..." and let me say it again, that just recalling the events that led up to and throughout our legal case revolving around unpaid and overdue child support, almost brings me to tears. Yes, in our case the story of money revealed some ugly truths. My wife's ex husband was order to pay child support all along; dating back several years! Since this order pre-dated me, I wasn't fully aware of the facts, but it had always bothered me that her ex wasn't paying the full amount of child support. I won't go into all the horrendous details as to why this person wasn't paying their fair share of child support, but I will say this... Leslie made it crystal clear that just because a woman remarries, her ex isn't excused from their financial obligations. When confronted with this matter of unpaid and overdue child support, the ex challenged the claim and because of that it was set for arbitration. Throughout that process, Leslie was super organized, thoughtful in how she prepped us to give testimony and masterfully gathered and analyzed financial evidence that ultimately resulted in a very favorable resolution for us. If you're dealing with a Family Law issue and you have questions about who's the best to hire to represent you, I highly recommend Leslie Olson & Olson-Olson, PLLC without hesitation. They have the character, resources and a host of other legal expertise that will get you the desired outcome! Thank you Leslie, Mark & Greg! We appreciate you!

Deep knowledge in many areas, honest and hard working

Leslie is strategic, honest and incredibly hard working. To say that she will stand by your side is an understatement, she will step in front of a team of opposing counsel and defend her client and her client’s rights. My case was a mess, I had gone through 3 lawyers (one who claimed, to be one of th...e best lawyers in Western Washington and from the largest divorce firm in the city, his representation and work was atrocious) looking for someone who would look deep and hard at the facts and I finally found that in Leslie. Leslie did a wonderful job representing me through the case and trail. The custody for my divorce was a mess where my ex had nearly unlimited funds, a team of lawyers who were constantly stirring up trouble. My ex who was struggling with intense emotional issues that got scary. I didn’t have unlimited funds and only wanted what was fair. I wanted what I earned financially to go to the kids and protection for the them while their father received the treatment. Leslie knows the law, she knows real estate, she knows business valuations, she knows how stock works with vesting schedules, she knows how taxes work in divorce, she knows how to structure an unambiguous custody agreement, so in high conflict situations the parties don’t end up in mediation every six months. She explained the tradeoffs and strategies we had to get through, the process and helped me be clearly informed on what my choices were. With her guidance we made the right decisions as a team. She always took the high road and was results driven, it paid off in SOO many ways. My case was an international case where my husbands’ assets were hidden overseas, and Leslie worked tirelessly to make sure we represented the factual picture. If my ex and his legal team hadn’t refused to be even remotely reasonable, we could have settled without going to trial but that wasn’t the case. We had to go to trial and my goodness, the difference between a good trial attorney like Leslie was clear! She was able to get a substantial award in attorney fees and exactly what I needed. She pushed me to be reasonable and it paid off, in hindsight this was one of the best things that I did in my case and without having so much trust in Leslie the results might not have been the same! It was extremely hard to achieve these results; I never gave up and neither did she. I would recommend her to anyone and would put my name behind her as the best attorney I have ever met (and I work for one of the large tech firms in a legal division). Family court is hard, not having an attorney who is skilled in so many different subjects can result in a less than favorable result. Leslie was laser focused in trial, efficient, she and I were our little two-person team and she was worth well beyond EVERY DOLLAR she earned in representing me. On a personal note, she cared about what was happening to me and was the strength I needed to stand up for my rights and my kids. Actions speak louder than words and having an honorable hard-working attorney who takes the high-road pays off. Leslie never made promises she couldn’t keep but instead explained the situation and how the law looks at things, how courts work. Where all my previous representation promised they would get the harassment to stop and protect us it would take months of me begging for help before they would even draft letters to opposing council to ask for him to stop his behavior. Leslie filed motions to mediate nearly immediately on a time sensitive issue to protect my daughter and action is clearly something she is great at.

Solid Attorney

Leslie represented me in my recent divorce. She is smart, compassionate and cunning. Had the other side not been intransigent and delusional, Leslie would have shepherded us to a settlement. Unfortunately we did not. Leslie fought for me and got me a far better deal at trial than what I was prepa...red to offer in settlement. At work, I am the person responsible for managing a wide range of outside counsel, so I have worked with a lot of attorneys over the years. Leslie is an excellent attorney and I recommend her highly.

Not in the game

Leslie has been my lawyer for 8 years. Before I would have described her as fair and empathetic - to the other side, which helps. She takes a psychologist approach to understanding the other side's point of view and then writes and pleads into that, coming across as level-headed and fair in court. Sh...e says she has dyslexia, which I can't confirm or not, but her writing is very simplistic. However, that can come across as more straight-forward in family law, so I don't know that it's much of a disadvantage. However, in 2016 Leslie started a cannabis farm. That's right. I've since hired her, and she's been unavailable. At her recommendation, I entered into a parenting plan evaluation settlement. The evaluator has open communication with all parties on what's happening, when. Leslie didn't try to call me to prep me for evaluation. She hasn't reviewed documents I've sent for the evaluation. I've sent more than 5 emails in the last week about my collaterals; no response. She's lost her game, and is very focused on the pot farm unfortunately, which is called Quincy Green. Before working with Leslie, I'd confirm her actual availability and focus. I've found her unable to respond to simple emails for weeks at a time, and not proactive in scheduling preparation or strategy for upcoming events, even when there's a long lead time. She did come to the rescue for an emergency, for which I'm grateful. Her heart is in the right place. I just wonder if her head is in the game.

The Best Attorney Ever

I have been involved with multiple divorce attorneys in the past and found Leslie to be by far the best attorney I have ever encountered. She is spectacular! Very intelligent, astute, and a joy to work with. She was on-top of every detail, kept me well informed and made it much easier to sleep at ...night. Leslie was so superb that my wife frequently complained that I hired an expensive "big gun." Leslie has a wonderful attitude, understands all the gory detail legal aspects and is very honest and direct. Her total fees ended up being much more reasonable than the competition who was at a much lower cost per hour. Leslie has a highly trained and sharp support staff and she delegates very effectively. You won't find a more effective and pleasant person to work with. I highly recommend her with no reservations.

"I've known Leslie at least 15 years. Over this time, she's assisted several of my family law clients whose cases have gone to the Washington Court of Appeals. To help a client at this level, it is not enough to merely know the complexities of Family Law. The attorney must also be skilled in the procedural rules of Appellate Law. Leslie is proficient in both. If you need representation in an appeal of your family case, Leslie is well-qualified and a formidable advocate for her clients."
