I hired Wes to represent me in an action against an insurance company that denied payment of my medical expenses. The insurance company claimed that the automobile accident, which they conceded was caused by their insured, did not cause the injury which resulted in the need for my spinal surgery. Wes demonstrated an excellent understanding of the medical issues involved and provided me with a realistic expectation of the possible and probable legal outcomes.
I chose arbitration instead of going to trial. In the arbitration session Wes demonstrated his skill in questioning expert witnesses and in presenting my case to the arbitrator. The result was that the maximum dollar amount was awarded to me.
The insurance company then filed an appeal. A trial date was set and Wes instigated a series of steps including additional interviews and further depositions with the neurosurgeon and other doctors involved with my diagnosis and surgery. I believe that these steps convinced the attorney for the insurance company of the risk of actually going to trial. The final result was that the insurance company settled for significantly more than the original arbitration award.
Wes was an excellent choice for my case. I live 2000 miles from Seattle and throughout the process he kept me fully informed and up to date.
I would highly recommend Wes Edmunds. He created a concise strategy for my case and his tactical execution was extremely effective, particularly when he was face to face with the opposing counsel.
The fact that he won the monetary award is great but at the outset, he was very honest about the different possible outcomes. In other words, he never made big promises and, most importantly, he listened to me and what my objectives were.
