Concerned and knowledgeable counsel, the client is the highest priority
My experience with Richard Adler and Jacob Gent at Adler Giersch, PS, was fantastic. From the very beginning, these two individuals made an otherwise daunting process navigable. Taking over the burden of the situation, they involved me in every decision, treated me respectfully, and made my priorities their own. Never was I pressured to take my case one direction or another; instead, the available options were presented to me, and my decision was final. Richard and Jacob's experience was invaluable in resolving my case. I would have been lost without their intimate, first-hand knowledge of all aspects of personal injury law. I understand that choosing a legal adviser can be intimidating and exhausting, but I would encourage anyone in need to speak with Richard and Jacob.

Compassionate, Intelligent, Thorough - I'd recommend Richard every time.
I contacted Richard Adler on the advice of a doctor I saw after suffering a nasty accident. In his words he'd never recommend a lawyer with the one exception being Richard Adler. I was very fortunate to get his name at the time. I was involved in a life derailing bicycle accident resulting in a disabling brain injury. Right from the very first time I met with Richard he was compassionate, understanding, and incredibly reassuring for what was to be a multi year process trying to get the insurance company to "do the right thing". Richard not only represented me as an attorney and advocate for my legal case but helped me and my family find information on brain injury, survivor groups, and lectures with doctors where we learned a tremendous amount that has helped us cope and adapt to a new life style. Stress is one of the worst parts of a traumatic injury - the insurance companies compound that stress dramatically - and Richard did a tremendous amount to mitigate that stress on me and my family. Just his presence and demeanor were very reassuring that things were in good hands and would be taken care of. I never had to worry that something might be over looked or slip through the cracks. One of the biggest things I can thank Richard for has to be education. He really helped me understand not so much the legal side of things but my injury as well. He has done a tremendous amount of work with brain injuries and the Brain Injury association of Washington and he still understands what it's like to be new to the situation as any of us would be getting in an accident. It's scary to be going through this process, the legal stuff, insurance companies, letters, doctors... I can't thank Richard and his staff enough for what they did to help me through it all. Even after things were "done and settled" Richard has continued to be there and support myself and family even checking in just to see how we were doing.

Personal Injury
Richard Alder was my lawyer for my personal injury case and also for my older brother ( Anwar Ahmed ). Who got hit by pick truck while he was walking to work. Richard and his team did amazing job for us. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were taken care of every step of the way and Richard fought so hard for us. Specially, for my old brother's case which was a big one. Richard really cares for his clients and gets the most compensation that they deserved. We will definitely and highly recommend Richard to anyone.

Read Richard Adler's Books!! They were what I needed!!
I had a very positive experience with Richard Adler and Arthur Leritz of Adler & Giersch, who came to the rescue of my personal injury claim after a full year with a law firm who did not act in good faith on my behalf. They did the following things for me: They recommended excellent medical physicians at the top of the industry for spine (neck and back) trauma, who helped me get the diagnostic testing I needed by a highly respected surgeon. They guided me in ways that were sometimes difficult to hear or process with a TBI and spinal injuries, vision problems, constant PTSD flares, etc. They told me what I needed to hear, not what I wanted to hear. They defended me in all the battles they faced to get me the best possible outcome for my case. They were seasoned, wise, and compassionate. After three years of utter hell, I can say without a doubt that they went far beyond being my attorneys. They were my lifeline and my hope. I give them 5 stars and would highly recommend them to anyone who needs their help. Devin Loughney

Unparalleled Advocacy and Compassion for Clients
My experience with Richard Adler has been nothing short of life changing. I suffered a very serious injury in a motor vehicle accident at the fault of another driver and began the long and daunting process of recovery. I contacted Adler Giersch shortly after my accident and they agreed to take my case and I immediately felt peace of mind that I was in very good hands with their firm. Richard began moving my very intricate case forward and fully managing the process which allowed me to focus on my physical recovery. MaryEllen Bolden took charge of handling the mountain of medical bills I had accumulated and working directly with the insurance company and providers to ensure everything was kept organized and on track. Throughout the process, I was regularly checked in on by Richard and the Adler Giersch team and always felt that my personal recovery was the most important aspect of my case to them. The final settlement proposal that was prepared by Richard on my behalf was nothing short of masterful in its complexity and comprehensiveness of detail, and Richard was able to achieve a settlement that exceeded my wildest expectations and brought closure and healing to my entire family. Richard Adler and Adler Giersch receive my strongest endorsement as an attorney and firm that fully deliver on unparalleled advocacy and compassion for their clients.

Compassionate Counsel Gets Results
Without hesitation, I would highly recommend Adler Giersch. Richard Adler has represented me on two different personal injury claims and I could not ask for a better counsellor or advocate. Throughout the entire process, Richard and his team made sure that I was informed and understood every step of the process. They were genuinely interested in my recovery and helped me to find the best medical care available and navigate the complexities of the medical system. Communication was stellar and they helped me understand what to expect, explained the timing for various milestones and set realistic expectations about the process and the settlement. At every step, I felt supported, well represented and knew that I had a team dedicated to getting me the best possible result. Richard delivers on strong advocacy, compassionate counsel and outstanding results.

Simply Outstanding Attorney
Richard and his team get my unequivocal recommendation. He was caring, concerned about me and my family as individuals, took his time in explaining the likely timeline and procedures, and got the job done in the end. Am very grateful that I was put in touch with him as he made what could have been a very prolonged and stressful process as stress free as possible.

Excellence
As a retired physician who specialized in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation for 30 years, I was frequently asked by my patients who were injured in a motor vehicle accident to communicate with their lawyer and car insurance company. As their doctor, my job was to inform their lawyers and insurers that the care I recommended was reasonable, necessary and appropriate. Having worked with hundreds of lawyers, I felt that Mr. Adler and his firm were in the top 1%. My patients found him to be honest, articulate, compassionate and a very strong advocate for their interests. As a physician, his role as a patient advocate was always paramount and made working with him and his team comfortable and seamless. Because of this, I have highly recommended family and friends to Richard and his firm, Adler Giersch for many years.

An Outstanding Attorney
Mr. Adler is an outstanding attorney. He helped me with my case from start to finish and I was incredibly pleased with the end result. My medical injuries left me feeling voiceless, traumatized and angry. Richard made a point to get to know me as an individual rather than just a list of medical mistakes and made the often dehumanizing legal process ultimately empowering and healing for me. He is an excellent listener, kind a very strong advocate. He fought for me even when I felt hopeless and his team was always there to support me when I felt overwhelmed or worried throughout the process. I would recommend Richard and his team to my friends, family and to anyone in search of an attorney who will steadfastly fight for you.

Advocate and Attorney!
My parents referred me to Adler Geirsch after my car accident and from there moment we spoke I had immediate confidence in him and his team! My first conversation with Richard Adler a plan was laid out with a clear under that my healing came first. Every single person I had contact with from his office made me feel like a human and not like another number walking through their door. With that understanding in place they swiftly went to work, while thoroughly explaining each step they were taking to gather all the necessary information for my case. Richard sets reasonably high expectations for himself and his team while simultaneously exceeding them! There is no one that I trust more than Richard Adler when it comes to handling these cases.

Best TBI Attorney
In July 2018, my husband and I were in a terrible auto accident, I walked away but my husband was life flighted to Harborview, it was a horrific time and as soon as reaching out to Adler Giersch, I only had to focus on the care of my husband. Richard, Steve, their paralegals MaryEllen and Maritza arrived at the hospital and from that moment they handled everything, I MEAN everything. It is 2021 and we are finally able to say that we can breathe again and it is all in thanks to their hard work. I hope one never needs to call them, but if you do, you will find the most hard working, understanding, kind and professional group of people. They were my support and always there at a seconds notice through the maze we had to travel.

Professional and Caring
Richard Adler was a Godsend after my accident. It was such a learning curve trying to work through this process and a constant major migraine including difficulty processing didn't help. Not only did Richard take care of all legal concerns, he was an advocate for my health. He encouraged me to seek out answers from the best health professionals in the area of Traumatic Brain Injury. I feel that Richard really cares about me and believes in my recovery. Adler Giersch is very professional and successfully settled my legal case.

Above and beyond
Three years ago, I got rear-ended and hit my head on the steering wheel. I suffered from a concussion and neck injuries that impacted both my personal and professional life. Richard came highly recommended by someone I trust and I will forever be thankful for his help and support. Richard and his team consistently showed true compassion, integrity and excellence. He took the time to listen, provide advice and emotional support as well as helped me focus on my healing while he and his amazing team dealt with the entire legal process. He made sure I understood every step of the process while advising me on the best course of action for me and my family. The outcome was above and beyond my expectations. Thank you, Richard & team, for an amazing support and results.

He makes sure justice is served!
My parents and I were treated like family during the whole process after my accident. From the time he visited me, the day after my accident, to the last meeting where he just asked about my wellbeing. He really cares about clients. We are forever grateful for the time and energy Richard and his team spent on my case. He made my whole process stress free, easy to understand and I couldn’t have asked for a better outcome. Richard provided me with a lifetime of supplemental income to assist with my new handicap. He made sure justice was served. I will always refer Richard to ANYONE needing legal advice, there’s really nobody better. THANK YOU!

Amazing Attorney
A few years ago I was hit in a motor vehicle collision which caused an elbow tendon rupture. I was in a great deal of pain and needed surgery for the injury. At the time I had lost my health insurance, did not have any reserve money and needed to get back to work. I remember our first meeting in his office. It was a load off of my shoulders. Mr. Adler treated me as a friend and looked after me as if I was family. He guided me through the forest and around the despair as well as the potential pitfalls of my case. I could not work for ten and a half months in total, had two surgeries and thousands of dollars of medical bills hanging over my head. Mr. Adler being there to look out for my back relieved much stress and allowed me the time to heal and get back to work. Mr. Adler made the outcome of my case a positive game changer for me. I would never have been able to navigate my case on my own. I would definitely recommend Richard Adler to any person in a similar situation dealing with the turmoil after a motor vehicle collision. Looking back, he treated me with caring and concern as a friend rather than a stranger or acquaintance.

Intelligent, knowledgeable, professional, and caring. Truly the best attorney you could possibly ask for.
When my husband was rear-ended by a semi truck and suffered a TBI as a result, I had many sleepless nights researching attorneys and interviewing the best results I had found. I was set on this team after seeing the unanimous positive outcomes, and the fact that Richard and his team had more experience with traumatic brain injuries than any other attorney I had found. It's difficult to put into words just what this team has done for our family. They took care of everything (Insurance, keeping up with doctors, ect.), allowing my husband to just focus on recovery and the difficult process of returning to work. Richard and MaryEllen kept in constant communication and proved to be completely professional, yet caring. In the end, the case they presented was irrefutable, and resulted in a settlement that exceeded our expectations. As if that wasn't enough, they went out of their way to offer us counsel beyond the settlement of the case. They connected us with a financial adviser, and other survivors who had similar experiences so we wouldn't feel alone in what we were going through. Richard and his teamed proved to be caring, empathetic, and trustworthy during this process. They also demonstrated professionalism, authority, knowledge, and expertise in both legal and medical matters. I can't recommend Adler Giersch enough.

Beyond Expectations
Richard and Mary Ellen assured me that they would handle my personal injury case and allow me to focus on my healing. I had no idea how instrumental they would be in my healing as well. Three years ago I was rearended by a semi truck, and today I can say I'm doing so much better because of the help Richard and Mary Ellen where there to provide. I'm back to work now and able provide for my family without worrying about the chaos the accident brought into my life. They dealt with the insurance company and kept up with my Dr's throughout all my medical care. The outcome of my case was well beyond what I expected. I am so grateful for what they have done for me and my family.

Compassion, integrity, excellence, and a peace of mind
I was in a car accident in Feb 2013 that resulted in a traumatic brain injury at the peak of my life, both personally and professionally. It was truly devastating and has left me with issues that will likely remain with me for the rest of my life, as my doctors call it my "new norm". To say it has been an incredibly scary and daunting experience to go through is an understatement, and that's not even including the insurance side of things. I had an attorney first that I quickly became very concerned about. I was then referred to Richard Adler and it's not one bit of an exaggeration for me to say he truly was a godsend! What Richard and his team - MaryEllen Bolden and Arthur Leritz - gave me was a peace of mind to really be able to focus on my lengthy recovery and adjust to my new life, which was absolutely priceless. They are extremely through and prepared me from the beginning for what would be a multi-year process. They were always very patient in fielding and answering all my questions. Nothing can ever give me back the time I lost or right the unexpected wrong turn to my life I was dealt with the accident, but Richard and his team have resolved my case extremely well so I can continue to focus on rebuilding my life. Their motto is "compassionate counsel, tough advocacy" and that's truly what you get! They aren't just great at the legal side of things, they are immensely knowledgeable about traumatic brain injuries and go above and beyond to passionately care for and educate survivors and their families. They genuinely care about what they do and work so hard to not only help their clients but the community of brain injury survivors at large. Learning about that side of them is what gave me the peace of mind to know I had the right people on my side. They are not just my former legal team but an extended part of my family now. Finally if you are reading this review, I unfortunately know it means either you or your loved one is dealing with a potentially life altering experience. Know that I have been there - and still am - so my thoughts go out to you. I hope my words help you to at least get a good representation so you too can have a peace of mind while you deal with your recovery and adjustments to your new life.
