I wanted to thank Megan and the whole team (especially Chris and Toni) at Callahan Law for the way you handled my case over the past five months. I’m especially grateful that you were able to get my charges reduced to reckless driving. Megan and the team were always friendly and quick to respond ...to my questions, and always answered my questions, so I could understand exactly what was going on. The reminders I received about court dates and other deadlines were very much appreciated. I don’t plan on ever needing your services again in the future, but I will certainly recommend Callahan Law. This was my third DUI (plus a charge of Reckless and Failure to Obey) so I knew I was facing some pretty serious consequences. I met with Megan the week of the incident and she got the ball rolling immediately. She encouraged me to get into treatment right away and reassured me that we would get thro...ugh this together. I had confidence in her from the beginning and she never let me down. She was always available to me by cell or email and the excellent support staff in her office kept me on top of everything as well. I know my review should focus on her legal expertise (which was outstanding) but for me, the most important part was the sense of calm I had knowing that while I was taking care of myself in recovery, she had my back in EVERYTHING court-related and that was HUGE for me and my husband!! She was my voice and advocate to the prosecuting attorney and the judge. She got me released from random court UA’s because I was already having them done in treatment and it took me 3 buses to get to the courthouse. In addition to the police report, she did in-depth research including review of the 911 call and reviewing personnel files of the arresting officers. She found out what the Department of Licensing would require of me down the road and she outlined what options I had to serve my time. Ultimately, Megan got the Reckless thrown out and I was sentenced to 24 hrs. in jail and an $1,200 fine. Nobody could have asked for a better outcome. So if you’re reading this review because you’ve just gotten a DUI (or other criminal charges), I recommend two things: HIRE MEGAN POWERS (Dunn) because you won’t find a better attorney anywhere and GET SERIOUS about your drinking and be proactive in your recovery so that Megan has a credible client to work with.

My license was suspended in 2009 and I didn't even know it; when I happened to get pulled over. I was advised to get to a lawyer. I was scared not knowing what to expect. I searched on google and Megan's law office came up. I was asked some questions and was able to explain what happened, without be...ing judged. I was assigned to Megan, which was the best thing they could have done. I was scheduled for court the following week Wednesday; by Monday she had already spoken to the prosecutor. I was stopped for speeding and was tested for DUI & arrested. Immediately I felt as though my life was going to be out if control & that I had screwed up big time. From the moment I sought advice from Callahan Law & eventually Megan Powers I was empowered by their words & confidence in handling my c...ase.
