I wanted to thank Megan and the whole team (especially Chris and Toni) at Callahan Law for the way you handled my case over the past five months. I’m especially grateful that you were able to get my charges reduced to reckless driving. Megan and the team were always friendly and quick to respond ...to my questions, and always answered my questions, so I could understand exactly what was going on. The reminders I received about court dates and other deadlines were very much appreciated. I don’t plan on ever needing your services again in the future, but I will certainly recommend Callahan Law. When you're accused of an infraction that you know you didn't commit, you feel vulnerable... powerless. The city is salivating at the opportunity to drop the heavy hand of the law upon you... to take your money, and your dignity.. but you know in the depths of your soul that you're innocent. That's... what happened to me. I was cited in the City of Seattle for "texting while driving". Seems simple enough, we all make mistakes, right? However.. I wasn't texting and driving. Not even close. And I had the phone records from T-Mobile to prove it! I needed a fighter in my corner, a real heavy hitter. I wanted justice. If I'm being honest, I would have paid many times the cost of the ticket in order to have my name cleared. It's the principle of the matter. That's where Megan came in. She saw through the city's B.S. right away. She contacted the prosecuting attorney and showed him the absurdity of the situation. Without ever having to appear in court myself, the case was dismissed. I can't express enough how courteous and professional Megan was throughout this process. In fact, she doesn't even take small fry cases like this, she usually works on real deal criminal cases, but she saw how important this was to me and made a special exception. I can't thank her enough.

My license was suspended in 2009 and I didn't even know it; when I happened to get pulled over. I was advised to get to a lawyer. I was scared not knowing what to expect. I searched on google and Megan's law office came up. I was asked some questions and was able to explain what happened, without be...ing judged. I was assigned to Megan, which was the best thing they could have done. I was scheduled for court the following week Wednesday; by Monday she had already spoken to the prosecutor. Being in the military I was very worried that my case would have huge impacts both in civil court and my military career not only did Megan get be all the way down to Negligent driving in the 2nd degree. She went above and beyond by writing a letter to my commander in the army that explained my situa...tion and that a Negligent driving in the 2nd degree is a non alcoholic offense. Which let to me staying in the army! Would absolutely contact her again if I was ever seeking an attorney.

I was stopped for speeding and was tested for DUI & arrested. Immediately I felt as though my life was going to be out if control & that I had screwed up big time. From the moment I sought advice from Callahan Law & eventually Megan Powers I was empowered by their words & confidence in handling my c...ase. Just complete, all around real good folks & quite a competent team. I'm glad I chose them to handle my case & im glad Megan helped me keep control of my life. Although I do not plan on using them again, I will ALWAYS recommend them if I'm ever asked for an attorney to handle DUI. Thanks again!
