Great work ethic and very knowledgeable on workers comp laws in Oregon

I hire Colin after I had a knee injury at my previous employer. They denied my claim and soon after fired me(they gave another reason as why they fired me.). I contacted an attorney with no response. I soon after got in touch with Colin and he hit the road running. We were able to settle my case and ...he did everything he could to work for me. We would have won the case if we went to trial but me being off of work for 7 months took a toll on my finances. At that point we needed to do something to help with the finances since I wasn't cleared to go back to work. Also as a word of advice, be sure to talk to Colin before you choose your doctor, not all doctors are on your side. Our settlement was enough to pay the medical bills, attorney fees as well as replenish our bank account. Highly recommend Colin.

Very disappointed in this attorney. Cause me stress and anxiety.

I hired Colin Hackett to represent me in a work comp case. He tried to negotiate an agreement with the insurance company. There was a potential agreement. Saif and my employer failed to follow through with the agreement. The settlement agreement was unacceptable at that point. Colin Hackett pressu...red me to take the quick cash settlement, that was not in my best interest. He seemed to be more interested in his fee, than being an ethical honest person and doing the right thing. Colin Hackett was unresponsive to my communication with him. He was put on notice that he would be fired. Colin Hackett has filed a lien against me for approximately $5100 for (according to his records) is 8.5 hours time. Over $600 per hour. In what world is that reasonable? Colin Hackett did not do a good job. He is in my opinion dishonest, unethical and unresponsive.

Hi Jeremy: I do not pressure clients in to quick cash settlements. You agreed to a settlement and it was a reasonable one. Then you unilaterally went back on the settlement without talking to me about it. You also did not take my calls or return my calls when I asked to speak with you about it. The settlement was reasonable and you agreed to it. I do not go back in settlements so I withdrew from representation of you. Then you wrote this bad review two months later as retribution becase I filed a lien for my attorney fee.
