Pete Meyers

I was recommended to Pete Meyers by another rental Lawyer who said that Pete was well versed with the new Landlord Tenant laws in Oregon where my incident occurred. I came to him with a demand letter from my residency of 12 years for quite a bit more than my original damage deposit. Pete and I revie...wed the letter as well as my paperwork from the beginning of my residency and determined I was indeed owed my damage deposit back. I contracted with Pete to write a demand letter for me, to be sent to the property management company I was dealing with. This letter was enough to spur them to discussion and a suitable resolution. Pete was a pleasure to work with and he was well versed in the Oregon Landlord Tenant law. I would be happy to work with him again if I need to in the future.

I hired Pete to help me with a legal action against a former tenant who trashed my house. Although I didn't get full damages, my goal was to get an amount of money so that I could let it go and move on without feeling angry about it and he accomplished that. Pet would tell me realistically what to ex...pect and let me decide the course of action that was right for me. I hope I do not have a similar situation arise, but if I do, I will certainly retain his services again.

Pete was a great help in representing me when a tenant was refusing to vacate after having been given notice to due so. Instead of leaving in a timely manner the tenant hired an opposing attorney who for weeks tried to bury me in accusation after accusation. Pete was instrumental in batting down the...se spurious claims. He arranged a conference with a judge which lead to a complete resolution and I am very thankful.

I hired Mr. Meyers to do a landlord/eviction for me. He was actually concerned about how much I was spending, I was surprised! He did a good job of communicating, so there were no long periods of me wondering what the heck was going on. When I contacted him, he got right back to me. I will use hi...m again for other real estate matters.

I contacted Mr Meyers due to a landlord/tenant issue i was having. facing eviction at 68 yrs old was not on my bucket list. He advised me and went to court for me and ultimately helped me out of a jam.. yes I did have to move but Mr Meyers allowed me time to get things done so i could move with no pr...oblems. I would consider hiring him again if I get into a landlord/tenant issue. He was considerate and knowledgeable when ever I needed to talk to him.
