Pete helped me to address a conflict with a tenant who was violating several terms of her lease. The situation was further complicated due to the pandemic and the additional legal protections the tenant was privy to around this time. During our consultation Pete honed quickly into the situation with ...asking all the right questions. He explained clearly and concisely what my rights were and what I had to do to remedy the situation. He was selective in advising which violations I might have a case against and which ones I might have trouble contesting based on Oregon law and legal precedent. Pete was very helpful with a situation we had as landlords and our property management company. Our tenants were great but the property management company neglected to write our lease contract properly. The tenants were due a relocation fee due to this contract being written poorly. The property mana...gement said we were liable for this fee but we felt they were since we had expressed our intention to move back into our house. Pete was able to take all the information and emails between us and the management company, and confirm that they were in fact liable for the relocation fee and not us. He helped us determine their negligence and help us confirm that we were in fact in the right. We had paid for his hour consultation and was able to move forward with the knowledge he had given us.
