John convinced me that I was in good hands and that he would be able to handle my case no problem. He promised me a price and his firm went through my retainer In no time. He asked for more money and and I compiled until I he had burnt thru all of my family’s available cash in about 6mo with little t...o no progress on my case. (I paid over 3 times the estimate I was given). When I was unable to continue paying several thousand every week John began to call me and emailed me every day asking for money and threatening to drop me as client if I couldn’t come up with x amount in 24hrs or 3 days etc. i maxed out my credit cards and I promised him I was selling my car so I should have the cash within a week or two at most for him. He said that was not good enough and unless I made an immediate payment he would withdraw from my case and not represent me in my deposition which was only 3 days away. I ended up asking my mother to put $2k on her credit card to hold him off through my depo. Well John took the money and said it wasn’t enough and dropped me as a client the next day less than 24hrs before my deposition. I was completely screwed and had to go to my deposition without an attorney. Needless to say it was a disaster my former business partners had her lawyers and they went to town on me. It changed the whole course of my case. In the end I had to represent my self and I lost my company that I built from the ground up, 4 years to build it and I walked away with worse than nothing completely broke and devastated and I blame it on solely on John. Let me make this very clear I believe John and his firm only care about money and there Billings not there clients. Trust me stay far far away from John and his firm hiring him was one of the biggest mistakes of my life. P.S - my deposition was on a Friday and I sold my car the following Monday I would’ve been able to give John plenty of money.
