I’ve been represented by Adam for the past couple years and two words that come to mind is brilliance and professionalism. He won’t lead you on with false promises. He’s there for your best interest no matter how much trouble you got yourself in. Back in 2022 I had a drug case where Portland police s...eized $18,887 after charging me with multiple drug charges. After charges were dropped I went to Adam to help me get my money back which his claim for return of seized property was successful and the funds were returned. Now I’m in a federal indictment Adam was my first and only choice when my futures at stake. He responded and was In person the very next day ready to attack, not just defend. He’s had my best interest in and outside of jail. I never felt like just another tacked on case. Most importantly he was so kind and patient with my 80 year old grandma who called him religiously when she hadn’t heard from me in a couple days. He always assured her I was in good hands. Thank you for being in my corner. Couldn’t ask for better representation, all boxes checked.

I was pregnant with my second child when I retained Adam for my concurrent criminal and juvenile cases. Adam advised me to take the plea offer in my criminal case. Jail time was at the discretion of the judge, but Adam assured me I would not go to jail. I took the plea offer. Then I went to jai...l. My due date was 32 days away on the date of my sentencing. On that day, I was sentenced to 30 days in jail. I had no prior record, and the prosecution didn’t even ask for jail time. But I got it anyway. The judge was not impressed by Adam’s defense. In fact, his defense probably did more harm than good. If I would have served all 30 days of my sentence, I would have had my baby in jail. (I ended up serving 24 days of my sentence. Then I went into labor three days after I was released.) I got those last few crucial days off of my sentence by transferring “across the street.” Adam didn’t know anything about this alternative jail option. Shortly after I transferred over, Adam went on vacation. He did not tell me that he was going to go on vacation, even though he had had the chance to at my sentencing hearing or when he visited me before I transferred over. Instead, I found out from Dawn, Adam’s paralegal, when I called his office after he didn’t show up when he had said he would visit me again. (My criminal case had been resolved, but my juvenile case was still ongoing, so I needed to stay in contact with Adam, especially after being sent to jail.) While nothing went horribly wrong in my juvenile case, I did not feel the high hourly rate Adam charged for his services was justified. I had had high hopes for Adam after reading all the glowing reviews of his amazing work on this site. But in the end, he proved to be a huge disappointment.

Adam .. what an amazing attorney! He was so strategic in approaching the criminal defense and trial for a family member who was facing five measure 11 counts. A total acquittal/not guilty verdict was achieved because of him. Not only does he have a caring personal approach with family, he helped us... navigate through a complicated, complex situation. Adam was so very respectful and dynamic with the jury too, engaging them when he countered all accusations. They paid close attention. Also exposing how the prosecution, investigative detective and the other "professionals" were incompetent and unprepared for a trial that NEVER should have occurred. He did an AMAZING job and I would highly recommend him. Thank you Adam for giving our life normalcy again!

Adam truly saved our sons life in that the prosecution had a strong case and he was skillfully able to take it apart Every misstep by the prosecution was exposed by Adam and he was able to show the jury that my son had been wrongly accused. He has a commanding presence in the courtroom and it was t...ruly amazing to watch him work. His knowledge of the law and his experience was the difference in this case. My wife and I were present for the entire trial and I can tell you that the jury sat up and listened intently whenever Adam spoke. I cannot really express how greatful we are in words but we couldn’t have had a better lawyer for our son. We will never forget what Adam did for our family. Adam Dean is simply the best in our book
