This is a verified real review that was also posted on Yelp by myself: After an exhaustive search of narrowing down to find the Best family and divorce attorneys in Sacramento, we found Kim Ma with the Law Office of Cameron Fernandez. Wow, Kim is a breath of fresh air. She communicates very well... and quickly returns emails/phone calls. Kim knows the law and moves the divorce process through the laborious and complicated court system. She is realistic about expectations, transparent in what she does, provides updated monthly billing summary, and is a genuine advocate. I only wished I found Kim Ma sooner. I had a previous lawyer that I spent way too much money and time on. I did much of the paperwork and research for my previous lawyer. On the other hand, Kim took care of all the court paperwork including the write up and serving papers. She did this all strategically at the right time and was not delayed due to the lack of communication or commitment from the other party. The office of Cameron Fernandez is always clean, professional, and friendly. They are not the cheapest but I strongly believe in getting what you pay for. I found the best quality lawyer in Sacramento and I plan to stick with her for all my family law matters until my kids are 18 years old. I will definitely recommend her to all my friends and family.

I have nothing but good to say about Kim. From the very first time that I met with her she was very professional, knowledgeable and customer/client service oriented. I knew that I was in good hands after our first court appearance which was related to child custody of my four-year old daughter who ...has Down syndrome. Every question that the Judge had for her relating to my situation, she was ready for. It was clear to me that she had done her homework on the case and was prepared to do her job. She did the job that I hired her to do. By the way, I was awarded sole and legal custody of my daughter with Mother getting supervised visits. In addition, any question that I have had for her through the process, and I’ve had many, she has been there and answered in a very timely manner. I don't know about you but I have had an experience in the past with a different attorney relating to child custody (5+ years ago) where we showed up to court and he wasn't prepared for the fact that my ex-wife at the time was asking for spousal support. Needless to say, I got stuck with having to pay that. Furthermore, I never felt comfortable with him. In my opinion, he basically just took my money while putting minimal effort into my case. I was just a number to him. You can pay an hourly rate for your case to 10 different attorneys but that doesn’t mean that they’re all good or you’ll get what you pay for. Trust me I know from experience. It’s not a shoe in that you’re going to get the 100% effort from every attorney. Moreover, Kim will care about you and your situation. I have no reason to believe that she would handle your case any differently than mine. She’s going to give everything she has. That, you can take to the bank! In conclusion, I would retain Kim again every day of the week! And I would recommend her without hesitation.

I have been going back and forth to court since 2009 regarding the custody of my son. In about 2011 I retained Kim Ma to represent me. She is an amazing attorney when it comes to Custody & Divorce cases. She was always there to listen to what I had to say or to let me vent because things were not goi...ng my way. Not once she made me feel that I was on the loosing side. She worked my case with 110% dedication and her extensive knowledge of the court system. I always waited for her to go off at the other attorney when accusations were made but she kept her calm and knew exactly what was going to happen. It was her way of taking control of the situation and laying out the facts for the judge without even an argument. I was very impressed with the way she handled things. She was never late to court or never failed to explain to me what was going on. Even though my case is over, I keep in contact with Kim just to give her an update on whats going on. She is always on top of her emails or phone calls. She is one amazing attorney who believes in what is right and the truth will always prevail. I have recommended a few people to Kim and they had nothing but very nice things to say about her. She has been my attorney and will always represent me in the future.
